Chelsea Clinton welcomes Baby Girl, Her First Child With Husband Marc Mezvinsky

Chelsea Clinton just had her very own first daughter!
The political scion just welcomed a baby girl with husband Marc Mezvinsky, the new mum sharing the news on social media.

"Marc and I are full of love,awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter,Chalotte Clinton Mezvinsky" Chelsea tweetted and posted to facebook.

"We are trilled to be with our daughter and her husband as they welcome their daughter into the world" her parents, former president of US,Bill Clinton and Former Us secretary of state Hillary Clinton said.
"Chelsea is well and glowing. Marc is bursting with pride. Charlotte's life is off to a good start!

Nollywood Actor Kenneth Okonkwo Joins Politics, Declares For House Of Reps

Ahead of the 2015 general elections, veteran Nollywood Actor, Kenneth Okonkwo has joined the league of other entertainers currently eyeing various political offices.
The star Actor is seeking to represent Nsukka/Igboeze South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).


He made his intention known during a media parley on Wednesday.
Okonkwo is a graduate of Business Administration from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka in Enugu State and also Masters degree holder in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, Akoka.
The Nollywood pioneer rose to stardom as an actor in 1991 when he featured in the movie, Living in Bondage.

Kenneth, with his declaration, has joined other entertainers who had earlier declared to run for different offices in their respective states. They include; Kate Henshaw, Kenny Saint Best, 9ice,Tony Tetula, Julius Agwu, and Bob Manuel.

Tinsel Star, Genro Ajibade Lost His Brother Shortly After Chatting With Him On Facebook

This is not the best of times for the Tinsel star, Gbenro Ajibade, as he lost his brother to a kidney related ailment Tuesday. Ajibade, who plays the character of Soji in the popular soap opera, said that he was really close to his late brother and was shocked and devastated by his death. He said he received the news of his demise shortly after chatting with him on Facebook.the actor said that his brother died of kidney related ailment having been on dialysis for some time.
He was ill, he had issues with his kidney and he was on dialysis. We were very close.

Synagogue Building Collapse: Lagos Begins DNA Of Recovered Bodies

Lagos State Government has commenced the identification of recovered bodies by calling on family members and all nationals who believe their relations could have been in the collapsed building to come forward and submit samples that can aid forensic identification and DNA analysis of recovered bodies.
Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Dr. Jide Idris, who made the call yesterday in his office, stated that the state government has considered it necessary to start forensic identification and DNA analysis of the recovered bodies in view of the need to identify each of them.
He, therefore, appealed to family members, especially parents, children and siblings of nationals who believe their relations could have been in the collapsed building to visit the Department of Forensic Medicine at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja from yesterday to submit samples that can aid the forensic identification and DNA analysis of recovered bodies.

Meet Lilian, Nigerian Representative In Big Brother's House

Nigeria’s Lilian, an actor and presenter, has joined fellow housemates in this season’s Big Brother Africa, which hits the screen on October 5.
She stands a chance of winning $300,000.
Popularly known as ‘SexyLeeLee’ among her fans, Lilian adds modelling and tax collecting to her swelling profile. She entered BBA hotshots for “the platform it provides and the publicity that comes with it, and of course the winning prize – the money,” according to the organisers.
BBA, which has enjoyed robust viewership, will be showed live across different hotspots in Africa.
Lillian said she was not willing to “sell herself short to win the grand prize.” If she wins, she will invest in her talk show, which is about “helping upcoming talents” and use part of the prize to get herself a house.
Lilian’s favourite food is rice and plantain; she likes watching Baggage on TV and listing to 2Face Idibia. She doesn’t have a favourite book, but likes movies like Think Like a Man, Blended, Friends With Benefits, Bridesmaids and Twelve Years a Slave. Her favourite actor is Angelina Jolie, because ‘she’s creative and can switch roles easily’.
Based in Lagos, she would like to visit California, the United States, for the opportunities the bustling city would provide her.
Lilian’s role model is Oprah Winfrey, because of her strength, while the person who has most influenced her life is her mother because “she has always believed in me and encouraged me to follow my dreams”
