My Girlfriend Steals My Boxers All The Time - Cristiano Ronaldo


Real Madrid and Portugal star, Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed his girlfriend, Irina Shayk is in possession of several of his iconic underwear "CR7" brand by way of theft.

In a recent chat with Vogue, he was asked what his girlfriend steal from him, and he said; "She steals my boxers all the time. She wasn't in the house and i opened her wardrobe and there were many CR7 boxers. It is funny."

The footballer who started dating the Russian model in 2010, launched the underwear brand "CR7" in October 2013.

Genevieve Nnaji Reacts To Latest Instagram Purge


This week, some sort of rapture took place on Instagram as Celebs watched millions of their followers vanish, after the social media site announced that it was going to crack down hard on spammers and fake accounts.

Justin Bieber, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, Harry Styles and Rihanna were among the hardest hit by the process.Bieber lost a massive 3.5 million fans in 24hrs, while Kim Kardashian watched 1.3 million disappear.

Unlike their foreign counterparts who lost millions of followers, Nigerian Celebs lost a few thousands. 
Genevieve Nnaji, who had over 400,000 followers now has about 320,000 left.
Reacting to the loss, she posted a meme that reads "You all better be happy it was followers they took away instead of the filters."

Tuface Idibia, Tonto Dikeh, Don Jazzy, Rita Dominic, Tiwa Savage and many more also lost followers.
The Instagram Purge, which kicked off this week is still ongoing and people are freaking out.

Miss World Pageant Bans Swimsuit From Competition


No more bikini clad contestants in Miss World!
One of the most popular features of a beauty pageant is the highly anticipated swimsuit competition because, people like to see beautiful women show off their enviable figures in bikini.
However, for the first time in 63years, the organizers has announced that Miss World will no longer feature a swimsuit in their competition, according to a statement released by the chairwoman, Julia Morley.

The Purge: Instagram Attacks Users By Deleting Fake Followers


Serious rapture happened on Instagram yesterday, and Today.
People woke up to shock and awe, when they found out that their Instagram follow counts went way down. They started panicking.
Rapper-turn-pastor, Mase even deleted his account after it dropped from N1.5million to 271k.

Rihanna lost a million followers too.

She had about 14million followers on Instagram, and it has dropped to 13million.
Instagram did this without prior warning to its users and it's not only celebs that were affected, regular people too. Even in Nigeria.

RMD Abandons Late Wife Grave [Photo]


Nollywood actor and Delta State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Richard Mofe-Damijo, RMD has abandoned the grave of his late first wife, Mee Mofe-Damijo at Ikoyi cementary, Lagos and the grave is now overgrown with weeds.

According to Famous People magazine, Moors there revealed that they have never seen the husband come to visit the grave since she was buried in the early 1990s.
They said initially members of her NGO, Sunshine Foundation do visit and give them money to clear weeds around the grave. But they have stopped coming.  The Moors added that those who really care about their late love ones do visit regularly to keep the grave clean.

It is interesting to know that, it was Mee who brought RMD to fame and fortune when she married him and moved him from Oshodi, where he was aquatting with some friends to her duplex at Talabi street, Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja, Lagos.

May Ellen Ezekiel, popularly known as Mee was a foremost journalist in Nigeria. Publisher of Classique magazine and editor of Quality magazine and also an host of Mee & You TV talk show, before she died after fibroid operation in Lagos.
Her only daughter and child lives in US.

Popular Kenyan Blogger Arrested For Insulting President Via His Tweets


Prominent Kenyan blogger, Robert Alai has been charged by the Kenya government for undermining the presidency through his critical tweets.
Alai is a government critic with a large number of Twitter followers.

On Twitter, Alai called President Uhuru Kenyatta an "adolescent president" and tweeted phone numbers he said belonged to the president and other senior officials.

"Insulting Raila is what Uhuru can do. He hasn't realized the value of the presidency. Adolescent president. This seat needs maturity."

"No public leader should have private contacts. Resign and go to private sector if you don't want your contacts public."

Alai denied all charges and was later released on around $2,000 bail, soon after his arrest. He was ordered by a court not to post similar content on social media. 
Kenyans on Twitter, including critics of Robert Alai condemned the charges against him. While others agreed to the arrest.

The New N100 Centenary Notes Goes Into Circulation Today


Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN on Thursday said that the commemorative N100 bank note recently unveiled by president Goodluck Jonathan, goes into circulation on Friday, December 19, 2014.
Accordingly, all branches of the Bank have been directed to commence issuance of the currency in their respective locations.
The new note will circulate alongside the existing note.
