Kelly Osbourne has quit "Fashion Police".
The co-host of the show walked out on Friday, following a week of tension after fellow host, Giuliana Rancic's much-discussed and controversial comment about Zendaya's dreadlocks. However, TMZ is reporting that Osbourne's departure has nothing to do with Rancic's controversy.
Below is official E! Statement on her departure...
"Kelly Osbourne is departing E!s "Fashion Polic" to pursue other opportunities, and we would like to thank her for her many contributions to the series over the past five years, during which time the show became a hit wit viwers."According to TMZ, there's been tension between Osbourne and the show's producers ever since the E! Program returned on air after the death of long time host, Joan Rivers.
The site claims Osbourne complained from the start about production matters and that producers were fed up with her.
Earlier this week, when the controversy spiked, she threatened to quit and tweeted - "I will not like to be dragged into this! I did not make the weed comment. I do not condone racism. So as a result of this, am seriously questioning staying on the show."
The issue was later resolved when Rancic apologized to Zendaya.
