Cristiano Ronaldo’s Mom Admits She Almost Aborted Him

Such stories only sound like what we watch in Nollywood movies but this time it’s a real life scenario.

Football star Cristiano Ronaldo would not have come to be if his mother went on with her decision to abort him many years ago when she was pregnant.

The shocking revelation was made in the new documentary film Ronaldo, which covers the star’s rise from humble beginnings to the summit of world football.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s mom, Maria Dolores dos Santos Aveiro, opened up in the film, explaining how she thought about having a termination when she found out she was expecting the  global superstar.

She says;

“He was a child I wanted to abort. We laugh about it now and he says ‘now I am helping you all’.”
