Contrary to viral reports this morning, Zahra Buhari's Twitter account is still very much active!

Earlier today, some news portal published a false report which suggested that, the general's daughter was intimidated into deleting her account by Nigerians, who criticized her for tweeting about her dad.
The reports says, she couldn't take it anymore, and decided to delete her account.

However, it wass revealed that Zahra's Twitter accounts; "Miss zahra #buhari @VictorLuther1 was very much active. She actually tweeted;
 “boss leave them alone, we will use our finger to change them.2015 GEJ must GO”#ChangeIsHere”
It was also found that, people were misled into believing the account was deleted because, they entered the wrong handle - Zahra3- which was never used by her.

DAILYPOST refered to those online portals who broke the false news as "Online enthusiasts, sarcastically referred to as internet rats, who are opposed to the presidential bid of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flag bearer, Muhammadu Buhari, have refused to leave his daughter, Miss Zahra Buhari, out of their campaign."

See First Photo Of INEC Card Reader For 2015 Elections

INEC showcased the card readers that will be used for the 2015 elections, The black device which is similar to a retro cellphone will be capable of registering the voters choice.
This is the first time card readers will be used in Nigerian elections.The deployment of card readers for the February polls is expected to eliminate rigging in the electoral process.

The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Enugu says;
“Using the card readers will be a watershed in the electoral process in the country. Politicians should rather concentrate on issue-based campaigns with a view to convincing the electorate than plotting ways to discredit the process. ‘Those plotting to rig the February elections will be disappointed. Those that stole our voters’ cards are just wasting their time because they cannot use them. It is impossible to hack into the INEC card readers so the best thing for politicians is to go and campaign instead of plotting to rig. The idea is to make sure that the electorates have a say in governance and their mandate protected."

Certificate Saga: Buhari Dragged To Court By A Lawyer

In a clear move to stop the presidential flag bearer of APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari from contesting the election, a legal practitioner, Mr. Chukwunweike Okafor, on Monday, approached the Federal High Court in Abuja with an application seeking the court to disqualify the candidate over issues bothering on his credentials.

The case tagged FHC/ABJ/CS/01/2015 has Buhari, APC and the Independent National Electoral Commission as the first, second and third defendants respectively.

The suit was filed pursuant to Section 131 of the Constitution, which prescribes a minimum qualification for nomination to participate in the presidential election and Section 31 of the Electoral Act that requires all presidential candidates to depose to an affidavit that they have satisfied and complied with the constitutional requirements to be President of Nigeria.

The complainant, in the suit filed through his counsel, Chief Ugo Ugunnadi, is contending that Buhari’s form CF001 with the INEC, wherein he stated that he obtained the minimum educational qualification of West African Senior School Certificate could not be valid as the said certificate was allegedly forged or not genuine.

He is asking the court to declare that “the information contained in Buhari’s affidavit dated November 24, 2014, stating that the Secretary of the Military Board was in custody of his WASSC was false and thereby disqualified him from contesting the 2015 general elections.”

The lawyer is therefore seeking an order of the court “compelling INEC to withdraw, remove and/or delete the names of the 1st and 2nd defendants from the list of persons or political parties eligible to contest for the Office of the President of Nigeria in the 2015 general elections.”

No date has been fixed for the hearing.

Joan Rivers' Daughter Sue Clinic Over Her Death

Melissa is suing the doctors and clinic after her mother, Joan Rivers stopped breathing during a routine procedure and latter died.

Melissa said in a statement that, filing the lawsuit was one of the most difficult situation she had to make.
"What ultimately guided me was my unwavering belief that no family should ever have to go through what my mother, Cooper and I have been through,"
"The level of medical mismanagement, incompetency, disrespect and outrageous behaviour is shocking and frankly, almost incomprehensible."
She said her mother, a comedian who crashed the male-dominated realm of late-night talk shows and starred with her daughter on E! in Fashion Police, deserved better.

Joan Rivers died from brain damage due to lack of oxygen during the surgery at Yorkville Endoscopy clinic on 4 September, aged 81.
The lawsuit said doctors mishandled the endoscopy and performed another medical procedure called a laryngoscopy on her vocal cords without consent. The suit said the doctor left the operating room to avoid being caught.
 "To put it mildly, we are not just disappointed by the acts and omissions leading to the death of Joan Rivers, but we are outraged by the lack of care and concern for Ms Rivers on the part of her treating physicians and the endoscopy centre where the treatment was rendered," said her lawyers, Jeffrey Bloom and Ben Rubinowitz., she added.
A federal investigation, ordered by the federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, found the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic made several errors, including failing to keep proper medication records and taking photos of Rivers while she was unconscious.

4. If I tell you that the Benin-Ore road used to be a death trap. People used to spend 24 hours on the road, today day spend three hours.
