Nigerian man abandons wife after she delivers baby boy without arms(Pictured)


babyA commercial bus driver, simply identified as Mr. Mudashiru Sheriff, has abandoned his family after the wife gave birth to a baby boy without hands.
It was gathered that Sheriff and his wife who were residents of Bosun Street, Ifo LGA, Ogun State, had been waiting for their first issue after two years of marriage until the wife, Mrs. Taiwo Sheriff, delivered a baby boy without any arm.
Mrs. Sheriff disclosed that their landlord had already sent a strong message that the baby should not be brought to his compound.
Mrs. Sheriff pleaded with well -meaning Nigerians to come to her aid as she has nowhere to go.
She appealed to governments at all tiers to come to her aid by adopting the baby.
She said: “This is my first child and I do not know why I had to give birth to this kind of a baby. Since my husband was informed that his son had deformity, he has not come to see me. He is a commercial driver, and we have been married now for almost two years now before God decided to answer our prayer.
“When I was pregnant, we took every step that the doctor directed us to do, but we did not know why we came about this calamity.”
“I have been warned by both my husband and our landlord not to bring the child home. The hospital has asked us to leave the hospital, now we have nowhere to go, I don’t need this baby, I want government to come and adopt him,” she pleaded

17 killed as twin blasts rock Jos -military, witnesses


Two blasts targeting a bus park in Jos killed at least 17 people on Thursday, the military and witnesses told AFP.
“There were twin blasts today in Jos,” said Ikedichi Iweha, military spokesman in the Plateau state capital which has been repeatedly attacked by Boko Haram.
He declined to give further details but two witnesses at the scene, including driver Ibrahim Hashidu, told AFP that 17 people had been confirmed dead, with the first explosion killing five people and the second causing 12 deaths.

Lupita Nyong’o $150,000 Pearl Oscars Gown Stolen (PHOTOS)


The stunning gown Lupita Nyong'o wore to Sunday’s Oscars was stolen from her hotel room earlier this week. 

Lupita has been staying at The London West In Hollywood, where her dress was allegedly taken from her room on Tuesday morning. She says she was out and discovered her gown was missing when she returned. 

According to TMZ, police are reviewing security footage to see if the incident was caught on camera and could perhaps lead to the perpetrator.

The Calvin Klein dress valued at $150,000 was adorned with 6,000 pearls and ivory beads and it was custom-made for Lupita.
