Patience Jonathan says Buhari’s brain is dead

First Lady, Dame Patience Jonathan, has encouraged all Nigerian women to vote en masse for PDP, during the March 28 presidential election because the brain of APC presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, is dead.
Disclosing this on Tuesday during the PDP women presidential campaign rally in Lokoja, Kogi State, she described Buhari as unfit to be the country’s president, alleging he is too old.
“Wetin him dey find again? Him dey drag with him pikin mate,” she said in pidgin English, adding that, “Old man wey no get brain, him brain don die pata pata.”
“What is change? Why did you not change things when you were there? Is it now that you want to be doing the things you weren’t doing before?
“Jonathan looked at us and said women, I am giving you the position of the chief justice of this country. Okonjo-Iweala is a woman, Diezani is a woman. Seventy percent of his cabinet are women.
“He also gave us the opportunity to start enrolling for the regular combatant course at the NDA (Nigerian Defence Academy). “He wants continuity because he has vowed to do more.  He places Nigerians in his mind and if he says he will do this, he will do it. So what are we looking for? If we women of Nigeria don’t appreciate Goodluck and we are looking for bus conductor, it is left for us.”

HILARIOUS! Have you read APC’s funny letter to Patience Jonathan?

In response to First Lady Patience Jonathan’s “We are not conductors so we don’t ask for change” remark, an open letter has been sent out by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Read it below.
Dear Patience Faka Jonathan,
How is everything going for you and the rest of the people in Aso Rock?
I write this letter in response to your statement, “We are not conductors so we don’t ask for change”. I just want to tell you that in the real sense of it, bus conductors do not ask for CHANGE. It is usually the passengers who ask for CHANGE.
Your husband, Goodluck Jonathan was chosen as the driver to convey Nigerians to their destination; PDP was appointed the conductor; and the Nigerian masses were and are still the passengers. As passengers, we had paid our bus fares in 2011 using the vote currency and now, we are asking, demanding for CHANGE as we approach our destination, 2015.

Fuel scarcity to last till next week

The current scarcity of petrol in most parts of the country is expected to continue till next week, marketers told BusinessNews on Monday.
While the pump price of the product had risen to N120 per litre in most filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory, the few stations that had petrol in Lagos on Monday maintained the N87 per litre official price except in some remote locations where the attendants charged N100.
In order to eliminate the scarcity, the Federal Government has approved the payment of the foreign exchange differential to the marketers of the product.
Marketers said the supply promised by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation only got to them over the weekend and that it might take a week for the product to go round and cushioned the effect of the shortage being witnessed currently.
“Most of the vessels came in late on the weekend; but what I can tell you now is that three vessels are offloading as we speak.
“Cushioning the effect of the product shortage, which has resulted in queues in filling stations across the country, will be very gradual. It may not happen as quickly as Nigerians want it because for the major marketers, they have to receive the product in turns.”
The Executive Secretary, Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria, Mr. Obafemi Olawore, said the NNPC had already supplied 58 million litres of petrol to Lagos, with the major marketers getting 40 million litres, while the balance is for Nipco and Aiteo.

How has Boko Haram been completely defeated?
From the beginning, we have been saying that we lack certain weapons to confront Boko Haram, because of the nature of the terror attacks and the environment and we have been trying to get these weapons. At least, we’ve received 65 per cent to 75 per cent of these weapons, we are convinced that we can reasonably confront Boko Haram and we are determined. You cannot fight militia group that do not respect international laws.
Why is this sudden step up of operations against Boko Haram? Some people believe it is because you are afraid of losing the election on the issue of security?
It is an act of ignorance. In a political environment, if one party, especially if a party claims it is going to the left, you must find a way of going to the left, they must find something to tell the people.
So, are you worried about losing the election?
I won’t lose the election.
Will the election be postponed again?
I don’t think so. I believe the election will hold as scheduled by INEC, that is the national election fixed for 28th of this month (March). I don’t see why we should postpone it again, because I’m quite impressed with the successes going on in the North.
There is a recent thing about the postponement. In 2011, we conducted elections in Nigeria and we had Boko Haram. The fact is that we think somehow the level of build-up of Boko Haram was quite serious and from all indications, people are trying to use them to disrupt the election.
In 2011, there were no such signals and if you disrupt election in a number of states, especially in a presidential election, it will affect declaration of results. So, the security services didn’t want to take any chances. They did not tell Nigerians that Boko Haram must be routed 100 per cent before election can be conducted; they want to degrade them to a stage that they will not have the kind of strength that they will come out and disrupt election.
In terms of taking over our territories, yes, we will take over all our territories and very soon, there will no longer be a part of Nigeria where they will hoist a flag, claiming that this is a Boko Haram territory.
Will you say you undermined the seriousness or mishandled this crisis?
No, it is not a question of mishandling it; Boko Haram didn’t start with me.
Is it true you want to remove INEC chairman?
Except somebody is insinuating that the chairman has done something wrong, you cannot change an officer except that person has done something wrong. Government, whether at the state or federal levels, a president or governor, does not wake up and change somebody, especially INEC. It is a very sensitive body, so, for me to change INEC chairman, both Nigerians and non-Nigerians will ask questions. I can’t wake up and change INEC chairman. I’ve never discussed with any human being on earth that we are changing INEC chairman.
There is this perception that corruption has gone worse under President Goodluck Jonathan, what do you say?
On the corruption issue, even if you look at the perception of Corruption Perception Index, people talk about corruption now because it becomes a political issue. When you promote something to a level of politics, normally it is blown out of proportion.
Yes, we have corruption cases, yes we have cases of people stealing, no doubt about that. I’ve always said that call a thief a thief and I’m not saying that in Nigeria, we don’t have elements of corruption or stealing, even it starts from the former CBN governor, who initially said that $49.8 billion were missing, that was a lot of money.
What is the budget of this country for God’s sake? Our budget has been about over N3 trillion and on the average our budget has been between $18 billion to $20 billion a year and you are saying we lost $49.8 billion, that means the federal and state governments will not pay salaries.
I don’t know how he came about those figures. Next moment, he changed from $49.8 billion to $12 billion, next day it was $20 billion, this time, I don’t know which one is the correct accusation.
Of course, the Senate set up a committee and they used consultants to look into it and they said that over $2 billion couldn’t be properly balanced, they did not say somebody stole it and there was no evidence to prove it was stolen but it was not properly balanced.
A lot of people are worried about violence during election, are you worried about violence?
Yes, I’m worried too and I’m not happy.
You said you are going to win this election, but if you don’t win, will you bow out gracefully?
I will win the election. If by default somebody wins the election, of course, I will go to my village. The country is not my father’s estate, I want to serve.

Suge Knight reportedly going blind in jail

Suge Knight claims he is going blind in jail.
The hip-hop mogul was taken to hospital for a third time after appearing in court yesterday, Monday, March 2, 2015 after telling the Los Angeles judge he has been suffering from serious health complications and receiving inadequate treatment while in custody over a murder charge.

CONFIRMED! Jim Iyke is not the father of Nadia Buari’s twins

Days ago, fans of Ghanaian actress Nadia Buari were shocked by the news announcing that the actress just put to bed a set of twins.

Although the father of Nadia’s babies has not been announced, it was naturally expected that Jim Iyke was the baby daddy following the relationship between him and Nadia, that even led to a marriage proposal by Iyke to her in one episode of his reality show “Jim Iyke Unscripted".

A close friend of Buari, Victoria Gyan, the host of the Late Nite Celebrity Show on Ghana’s e.TV disclosed that the actress is currently engaged to the father of the twins and he is not Jim Iyke.

Gyan further asserted that Nadia and the father of her babies attended the same university.

Buari reportedly gave birth to the twins on February 13 and is doing fine, and still in Atlanta, USA.

Khloe Kardashian to replace Kelly Osbourne on 'Fashion Police'

Joan Rivers' death has taken a toll on E!'s "Fashion Police". Fans of both the show and rivers were skeptical when the network announced that its new panel would include Kathy Griffin as Rivers' replacement and celebrity stylist, Brad Goresky as replacement for the only male in the show, George Katsiopolous.

And now, that Kelly Osbourne has quit the show, two names have come up as possible replacement - Khloe Kardashian and Nene Leakes and it's likely to be Khloe.

Kloe Kardashian neither a comedian or an authority on fashion, is being considered to join the cast. Some argue that she's not an expert in fashion. But what has always made ' Fashion Police' interesting is its willingness to poke fun and Crack funny jokes about celebrities. The combination of comedy and fashion makes the show. Khloe doesn't seem to fit into either category. Her fashion expertise is limited compared to Osbourne's the co-host she would replace.

"Fashion Police" was a show that became largely dependent on Joan Rivers and her opinions. Instead of attempting to keep it new or turn it into something different, perhaps it should quit and be remembered as one of Joan's legacy.
For those that love the show like me, what do you think?
