Thank your lucky stars Jonathan conceded victory- FFK tells APC

PDP has slammed the allegations by APC that President Jonathan came to Lagos to rig Saturday’s governorship election.
In a statement released today by the Director of Media and Publicity, PDPPCO, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode said;
“They should thank their lucky stars that we have a President who saw fit to concede victory and behave like a gentleman rather than cause a stir by rejecting the results and going to court.”“Once again the APC has degenerated into a party of liars who have little or no shame. It is not true that the President has any rigging plan for Lagos and neither do we need any such plan because our party is very strong there.
“The problem that the APC has and the reason that they make such asinine and stupid allegations is because they actually believe that they own Lagos state and all those that live there.
“They are now in a state of panic because for the first time in 16 years they are facing a formidable challenge and they know that Jimi Agbaje of the PDP is likely to win. The truth is that there was no secret meeting in which rigging was planned by the President and neither is it true that materials were smuggled in to rig Lagos state.
“The only people that are interested in rigging and in milking any cash cows are the APC themselves and they can rest assured that we will resist them at all levels. We will not only keep them on their toes at the Federal level by being eternally vigilant but we will also provide them with the most aggressive, relentless, focused and assertive opposition that Nigeria has ever known.
“President Jonathan simply conceded defeat in the Presidential election but this does not in any way mean that we have lost our nerve and neither does it represent a capitulation of our convictions or a collapse of our firm resolve.

Read President Jonathan's Brief Message Ahead Of Tomorrows Election

This was shared on his official Facebook page.
As Nigeria returns to the polls tomorrow, I encourage all registered voters to come out en masse and exercise their right to vote.
I have instructed our security agents to fully facilitate the right of Nigerians to choose leaders of their choice at the gubernatorial and assembly levels by remaining non partisan and ensuring that we all vote in a secure environment.
Because of their sacrifice in securing our nation, we can all be confident to come out and vote our conscience all over the federation.
I urge contestants to respect the will of the people as we promote a new Nigeria that is a pacesetter and light bearer in the practice of democratic politics without bitterness. May God bless Nigeria. GEJ

Jimi Agbaje urges Igbos to push APC into the Atlantic Ocean come Saturday

It’s crunch time and it’s only apt that Jimi Agbaje will capitalise on the unfortunate utterance of the Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, who threatened that the Igbos would die in the Lagoon if they don’t vote for Akinwunmi Ambode.

Consequently, the PDP governorship candidate in Lagos State, has urged Igbos in the state to push the APC ‘into the Atlantic Ocean’ by voting for him on Saturday.

He said this while addressing Igbo traders at Alaba International Market on Thursday.
“Nobody can push you into the Atlantic Ocean. Rather, you should use your votes to push the APC into the Atlantic Ocean by voting massively for the PDP on Saturday.”
“Election is like a snake. You have to make sure you win by killing the snake completely by using your votes to drive the APC out of power. The reason why they are harassing you is because they fear Igbo votes. They will try to do ‘shakara’ for you but you must vote massively for the PDP and protect your votes.”
“In the last 16 years, the APC has been full of arrogance. This arrogance must end once and for all. Saturday is the time to say enough is enough.”
“God is on our side and power will change hands on Saturday and life will be better for you and your businesses. There will be no oppression again because this election is about freedom from bondage.”

Popular Nigerian comedians, Seyi Law and Bovi Ugboma have joined the growing numbers of Nigerians to make a joke of the threat issued by Oba Rilwan Akiolu to Igbo residents in the state.
The Oba of Lagos has urged the Igbo residents to vote for his anointed candidate, Akin Ambode of the All Progressives Congress, APC or get ready to be drown in the lagoon within seven days.
Seyi Law and Bovi took to their instagram pages to post hilarious pictures in reaction to Akiolu’s threat.
