Football legend John Fashanu accuses wife of Lesbianism; Wife says she caught him cheating with maid

Former football hero John Fashanu has accused his wife of trying to kill him using a knife after she allegedly caught him bedding two other women.

Fash, who played for Wimbledon and England during a glittering career before retiring to host TV show Gladiators, is at the centre of a bitter divorce battle with estranged Abigail Onyekwelu.
And the former international striker insists SHE cheated on him with a woman.
She denies his claims and the astonishing battle – which includes the accusation that he bedded their maid – is to be played out in the high court in Abuja, Nigeria.

He said he had to call in police to protect him from knife-wielding Abigail and was devastated to find her in bed with another woman.

He also alleged that she stole thousands of pounds in cash from their marital home.

Speaking exclusively to Sunday People the star – who now presents the Nigerian version of TV’s Deal or No Deal – said: “She attempted to use knives on me. It was terrifying.
“My life was at stake, there’s no two ways about that. Even if you did think I was sleeping with the maid, or even if you thought I was sleeping with Miss Nigeria, don’t kill me! Just leave me and go. The violence was just too much.”
“My life was at risk and I didn’t want it to happen again. That’s why I filed for divorce.”
He denied his wife’s claim to have discovered him in bed with two other women – one of them their maid.
I’ve been very fortunate to date some of the most beautiful women in the world,” Fash insisted. “I certainly don’t have to sleep with my cleaner!
This is me, John Fashanu you're talking to. It’s absolute nonsense. If she wants to make up that story, at least let her say it's Beyonce or someone. Don't say it's my cleaner. That’s just b***s. It’s not true at all.
“The truth is she’s been cheating on me with a woman she calls her spiritual partner. I caught them in the bed many times. That was why I kicked her out of my house.
Father-of-five Fashanu claimed police are now investigating an attack on him. He also alleged that officers are trying to retrieve missing cash from Abigail.

Glamorous socialite, Abigail, 48 who is mother to ex beauty queen, Adaeze Yobo married to footballer, Joseph Yobo paints a totally different picture of the marriage breakdown.

The mother of four said: “John’s saying I tried to kill him? Oh my God, this is so funny. I don’t quite understand all this.
“How can I kill him? How can somebody like me kill this huge man who is an expert in karate. I don’t understand how I can kill him.”
She also rejected Fashanu’s claim that he threw her out of his house after finding her in bed with another woman.

Abigail said: “He didn’t kick me out of his house. We were living in my house. He couldn’t have kicked me out of my own house – I kicked him out.”

Of the woman concerned, she insisted: “She is a good friend to me. She has a husband and children. It is ridiculous. She was living with me for a while to get back on her feet.”
“I last saw him in April last year. I didn’t know he’d filed for divorce. He has been calling people asking them to plead with me to get back with him. I would have filed for divorce myself but I haven’t because I’ve been very busy. And he asked me not to because he did not want to make it known that we had separated. So I went on my way and I left him but I didn’t tell anybody anything.

Seyi Shay sings beautiful rubbish when asked to sing the National Anthem

Seyi Shay goofed when asked to sing the National anthem at an event recently.

According to Saturday beats, Seyi Shay was asked to sing the National Anthem at an undisclosed event in Lagos and she sang the first stanza beautifully and lost it at the second stanza of the anthem.

She reportedly fumbled and jumbled the lines, repeating the lines of the first stanza for the second but was able to catch up almost immediately and continued as if no harm was done.

The MC at the event who tried to cover up her beautiful rubbish said only a few would be able to recite the second stanza of the anthem.

An embarrassed Seyi Shay was reportedly seen leaving and she bowed her head in shame.

Re-Run Election: Mama Taraba Is Defeated In Taraba

Aisha Al-Hassan Al-Hassan who might have become  the first female governor in Nigeria, was defeated by PDP governorship candidate at the re-run election in Taraba state.

At the end of collation of votes for Saturday’s supplementary election in the state, Ms. Al-Hassan of the APC got 13,599 votes to trail Darius Ishaku of the PDP, who garnered 53,120 votes.
When the votes earned by both candidates in both the April 11 and April 25 elections are added, Mr. Ishiaku’s cumulative ballots came to 360,318 to the APC’s candidate 275,985.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is about to officially declare the PDP candidate the winner of the election.
At one point Ms. Al-Hassan, fondly known as Mama Taraba by supporters, overtook her main challenger, Mr. Ishaku, as results of the elections in local government areas trickled into the INEC office in Jalingo, the Taraba state capital, on April 11.
This triggered nationwide celebrations by people who thought Ms. Al-Hassan was on her way to dislodging the PDP from the state in a historic win.
But as more votes arrived from remote local governments, it emerged that Ms. Al-Hassan was actually trailing her challenger.
At the end of the INEC’s final collation that day, the election was declared inconclusive because the margin of Mr. Ishaku’s victory was lower than the number of registered voters in areas where elections either were not held or were cancelled due to irregularities.
Yesterday’s supplementary elections were held in those areas, with Mr. Ishaku getting the most votes.

Jonathan prays for Buhari’s government

President Goodluck Jonathan has said a prayer for the in-coming government of General Muhammadu Buhari.

The President also said he has been privileged to serve in the government for 16 years, and that it was only possible by the grace of God.

The President made the following comments on Saturday, April 25, at the fifth presidential prayer breakfast held inside the old Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
“We continue to pray for the country and of course, we pray for the incoming government and also pray for us who are leaving to have the opportunity to serve humanity in different phases. I remember in 2009 when I visited the Nordic countries, they told me they were celebrating 200 years of peace that has enabled them to develop. Nigeria was 49 years as an independent nation in 2009.”
“If the Nordic countries, well developed technologically and otherwise, it means crisis really retards development. So we have challenges, today we are talking about boko haram in the north, kidnapping in south south, south east. Atimes you are forced to think that the nation is ending, definitely this country will overcome this challenge. That is the reason for these prayers. Just like prayers helped Nehemiah to rebuild the wall of Jerusalem, our constant prayers will help us rebuild this nation.”
“For me, I have to thank God and Nigerians for the privilege and opportunity given to me this past 16 years. I served my state as a deputy governor and governor for eight years. From government house in Yenegoa and then I came here to the state house, Abuja served the country as vice president and a president. That is a reasonable length of time and so I have to thank God, first because if God did not will it, it won’t have happened.”

Gov. Okorocha declared winner in Imo

In the Saturday’s supplementary governorship election in Imo state, incumbent governor Rochas Okorocha, has emerged winner in the state.

Okorocha, the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) won in 20 out of the 23 Local Government areas in the state where the supplementary election was held, polling a total of 31,326 votes.

His closest challenger, Emeka Ihedioha, of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) garnered 13,624 votes.

The outcome of Saturday’s election effectively truncated Ihedioha’s hope of overtaking the governor and winning the election. The PDP candidate trailed Okorocha by 79,525 votes in the substantive election a forthnight ago.

The result of the election was declared inconclusive by the Returning Officer, Oyewusi Ibidapo-Obe, two weeks ago because the margin of victory between the top two contenders the APC and the PDP was less than the number of registered voters in areas where elections did not hold or was cancelled due to irregularities, thus necessitating a supplementary election, as required by the electoral law.

Don’t Let Me Die - Lady Bathed with Acid by Ex-lover Cries (Photos)

2-Year-Old Aladi Sule lies critically ill at a federal hospital in Lokoja, Kogi State. Her body wrapped in bandage from head to chest.
Her critical condition is no thanks to an alleged angry ex-lover who destroyed her beauty with acid. According to Vanguard, they had been lovers from secondary school. When she became pregnant in 2011,  the couple decided to live together. The pregnancy produced a baby girl but unfortunately, the child died shortly after her first birthday.

Then when they began to have problems, the man married someone else, prompting Ladi to leave the house. Then the man came begging but her family demanded that he marry her properly first before she moves back in with her.

While they were making wedding preparations, the man rented a house for Ladi, who also managed to get some money to start a fruits shop. Eventually, the man decided he no longer wanted to marry Ladi and asked her to pack out from the home he rented for her. When Ladi refused, he threatened to deal with her and destroy the 'beauty' sh was using to pose around town. Aladi didn't take him serious. Then he showed how serious he was.

A few weeks ago, Kazeem came to her house in the middle of the night and attacked her with acid. Kazeem was arrested but released three days later after his family agreed to pay the medical bills for Aladi who is currently receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State.

The family is appealing to individuals and organizations to come to their aide and help restore her life. The family can be assisted through the following account: Isiaka Sule, U.B.A, Lokoja, Account Number: 2032301751.

Dozens more people were reported killed in neighbouring India and China and there are fears the final toll could be much higher.

I’m an expert when it comes to women — Teju Babyface brags

Media personality, Teju Oyelakin popularly known as "Teju Babyface had a pretty interesting interview with Punch - where he bragged about his ability to handpick the opposite sex perfectly well.

See excerpts from the interview below :

How has The Teju Babyface show affected your career?

The greatest ingredient a man needs to outstanding success in life is equity. The Teju Babyface Show has brought me influence. What some people will have to queue for, buy with their hard-earned money, will come my way for free and without stress.

The brand ‘’Teju Babyface’’ will make me come to your office even when I know nobody (though I don’t do that) and still get attraction. These and lots more are things Teju Babyface Show has done for me. The Teju Babyface has brought me brand equity.

Why the name “Teju Babyface Show?

It’s a brand; there’s no point changing a winning formula. We are building a structure that will house everything from the brand name.

How has marriage affected your career?

My marriage has improved my career and also made me responsible. My marriage is great and gets interesting as the day goes by. I fended and thought for myself as a single man. I was also a bit reckless then. I am more responsible as a married man.

How would you describe your wife?

I married the best woman on earth. Sincerely, I got much more than I deserve in this regard. She is the best of all women.

How do you mean?

I am an expert when it comes to women and I know a good one. She is one of the good ones and I will always appreciate her. She was kept for me.

Can you recall your most romantic experience with your wife?

My wife is far from the traditional romantic woman, which is the exact reason I married her. She is not the type who would jump at a gift without knowing the reason behind it. She is a very serious minded type who does not really need a man before getting things right.
She doesn’t crave for attention like many women do. There was a time we forgot our wedding anniversary and when we remembered, we laughed at it. I would not have lasted with a woman who will nag or sob at things like that. She is a strong woman.
