Ini Edo Acquires N70 million Mansion In Lekki


Newly single Nollywood actress, Ini Edo, who got divorced recently has just acquired a N70m mansion in Lekki, Lagos.

According to E247mag, the actress is already living in the house with her siblings.

Meanwhile, reports have it that the bakery owned by the actress which produces Ini Delicious bread, has been closed down due to its affiliation with herex-husband.

Ben Murray-Bruce Declares Intentions To Run For Senate


Entertainment guru and president of the Silver Bird Group, Mr Ben Murray-Bruce, on Monday declared his intention to represent Bayelsa East Senatoria District at the National Assembly. 

He said "I am running for Senate because i am interested in the laws of our land. I am interested in making change and i not interested in business as usual. There are too many poor people living under the bridge. Nigeria is too rich for people to be poor and Nigeria is too poor for the super upper clase to be rich. This has to stop. 

He berated the wealthy in the society, who he said do not pay taxes, wondering how one man could afford to own three private jets, if he was paying his taxes regularly and correctly.

The Nigerian Guy That Was Arrested For Jumping White House Fence, Has Been Declared Mentally Incompetent To Stand Trial


A federal Judge has declared that Dominic Adesanya, the 23-year-old Nigerian/American guy who jumped over the White House fence, is mentally incompetent to stand trial.

According to Daily Mail, he was dragged, screaming out of the court room on Monday.

Last week Thursday, the Judge had ordered Adesanya to undergo a mental evaluation. Afterwards, the doctors revealed that he would be unable to stand trial due to the state of his mental health.

Adesanya is to stay in custody for continual treatment and evaluation. He will appear in court on December 22nd.

LAUTECH Student Arrested For Stealing Over 20 Phones


Abeeb Adekunle Olayiwola, a student of Crop Production & Soil Science at the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho, Oyo State, has been arrested over alleged unlawful possession of other student's properties, including over 20 handsets.

Olayiwola, 22, was nabbed by a student who handed him over to the security operatives attached to the institution after the items were found in his possession.

About 23 phones was recovered from him. Olayiwola confessed to have committed the crime and claimed to have sold about 3 phones.

Items recovered from him include 23 phones, six batteries, six sim cards, five memory cards, two hand-frees, one female bag and one HP Pavilion Laptop.

Gunmen Kill, Abducts German National in Shagamu


One German national has been killed and another kidnapped after unknown gunmen opened fire on the vehicles taking them to work in Shagamu area of Ogun State.

According to Juslius Berger, about four men emerged from the bush near Shagamu on 
Friday morning and attacked. 

A bullet hit one German and he was confirmed dead on arrival at the hospital, while the hoodlums abducted another German.

Julius Berger spokeswoman in Nigeria said, the
 two were traveling in seperate vehicles, without their security escort and and that the company is working with local authorities to secure the release of the hostage.

She revealed that the man who died was sub-contractor, while the hostage was one of their staff.
