A five-man robbery gang led by a fake policeman in Abbatoir, Agege, have been arrested by the real police.
In his defense, the fake policeman identified as Joel Ojo, said the guns and the police Identity Card recovered from the gang were given to him by Muhammed, his friend who is a Chief Superintendent of Police in Abuja.
The arrest which was made on Monday, September 28, at about 11pm, happened when the gang members, were stopped by a police patrol team, and their vehicle searched.
Two pump-action rifles, two pistols with several cartridges, a police I.D. card and a police uniform were said to have been recovered from the car, while the suspects were arrested.
They were thereafter transferred to the state Special Anti-Robbery Squad for further investigation.
But 58-year-old Ojo claims he was taking the rifles for repair and that he used the guns for security work, and not robbery.
He said, “We were arrested at about 11pm for driving against the traffic. The guns were in my car and I was taking them for repair. I am not the owner of the guns. I started to use the police I.D. card and the guns early this year. I work as a security man.
“Just assist me. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Operations, Kokumo, ordered our arrest.
“We were taken to SARS. As I speak with you, I am having headache and I cannot speak too much. It was one of my police friends who gave me the I.D. card and the guns. He is my friend; he is a CSP. He had also worked as a Divisional Police Officer. He knew I was a security man and he said I should have them. His name is CSP Muhammed attached to the Force headquarters, Abuja.”

Prostitute bites off customer’s ear over refusal to ‘settle’

One Precious Osas, 36, has been arrested and reportedly charged before an Isolo Magistrates’ Court for biting off the ear of Omokwa Chikwado, a 25-year-old man.
The incident occurred over a scuffle, which emerged after sex at an unidentified hotel in Okota, Lagos State, where they lodged for a night, P.M News reports.

Osas, a commercial sex worker, allegedly collected N3, 500 from Chikwado for an all-night sex romp but failed to fulfill her own part of the bargain.
Trouble started after Osas reportedly allowed Chikwado a round of sex and told him she wasn’t ready for another round until he paid her more money.
However, Osas allegedly struggled to cope with Chikwado throughout the period the sex lasted because of his high libido.
Chikwado, according to reports, was angered as Osas didn’t meet her side of the bargain.

He reportedly started an argument, which resulted in exchange of words and a fight ensued between the alleged sex partners.
During the fight, Osas allegedly grabbed Chikwado’s right ear and bit off part of it and Chikwado who was bleeding profusely, raised an alarm which attracted the attention of the hotel workers.
Reports revealed that the duo were handed over to the police at Ikota division.
Chikwado on interrogation at the station told the police how he paid Osas N3, 500 for sex throughout the night and equally paid extra N350 for registration.
He said afterwards, Osas allowed him to have sex only once and told him if he wanted another round, he should pay extra money.
Subsequently, Osas reportedly admitted that Chikwado paid the said amount and she allowed him to have sex with her as agreed, but that after the first round, he was demanding for extra round which she refused, noting that Chikwado had a high libido because he was drunk.
According to reports, the police charged Osas with conducting herself in a disorderly manner by inflicting grievous harm on Chikwado.
Osas, however, pleaded not guilty.
The Magistrate, Mrs. O. A. Adebayo, granted her bail in the sum of N50, 000 with one surety in like sum, and ordering that she be remanded at Kirikiri prison pending when she will perfect her bail conditions.
Adebayo adjourned the case till 19 October, 2015.
