LOL! This happened. During a recent Channels TV news broadcast, the network accidentally captioned a video of First Lady Dame Patience Jonathan, “President of Nigeria.” The photo of the error has since gone viral on social media.

Bobbi Kristina’s been taken off life support – Daily Mail || That’s so not true – her father, Bobby Brown

Bobbi Kristina Brown’s life-support has been turned off, according to a report by DailyMail.

The 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston was found face down in a bath-tub at the townhouse she shared with partner Nick Gordon on Saturday.

Her father Bobby Brown whose birthday is today, has says the report by DailyMail is false.

‘The plug on Bobbi Kristina has been pulled,’ a police source with knowledge of her medical condition told DailyMail.com.

But a statement released by Bobby Brown’s
lawyer says such reports should be disregarded. A statement shared with CBS News by Bobby Brown, through his lawyer,
reads:

“If we issued a statement every time the media published a false report regarding this matter, that’s all we would be doing 24 hours a day. This is false, just as is the vast majorit of the other reporting that is currently taking place.”

Photos: 90-year-old Robert Mugabe Falls Down Steps On The Red Carpet

Zimbabwe President Robert Mugabe fell down steps on Wednesday afternoon after speaking to supporters in Harare upon his return from Ethiopia.

Video obtained by The Associated Press appeared to show 90-year-old Mugabe missing a step and falling when he left the raised lectern at the airport, according to several witnesses, who insisted on anonymity because of security concerns.

His aides quickly helped him up and escorted him to his limousine.

Mugabe who was recently elected chairman of the 54-nation African Union at a summit of African leaders on 30 January in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, will be 91 on 21st of February.

Ebola not over yet, new cases confirmed in Guinea, LIberia, Sierra Leone

The weekly number of new Ebola cases registered across Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone rose in the last week of January, marking the first hike in 2015, WHO said on Wednesday. 

During this period, 124 new casess were confirmed across the three west African countries at the epicenter of the devassstating outbreak. 

Thirty-nine of the new cases were in Guinea, Liberia recorded 5 new cases, while Sierra Leone confirmed 80 new cases according to the latest statistics. 

In total, 22,495 people have been infected with the virus across nine countries, and 8,981 of them have died according to the latest numbers. 

Instagram Fans Blast Omoni Oboli For Trying To Hide The Age On Her PVC

Actress and producer, Omoni Oboli posted a picture of her permanent voters card (PVC)on Instagram but used a finger to cover up her date of birth and address. 

Her followers who have no chill at all put her on blast, asking for explanations on why she she had to cover some parts of the card.

She captioned it “Vote not fight! Nigeria is for us all! God bless Nigeria!” 
She eventually caved in by posting the full photo with the caption, “Vote not fight! By popular demand! I was actually covering the address but it’s okay cos I don’t live there anymore! #letsembracepeace #lovedonthate #GodblessNigeria”

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has warned that pastors should avoid facing the wrath of God by refusing to collect bribes from politicians.

“I read in the newspaper this morning that one of the serving governors in Nigeria said that some pastors in Nigeria collected N6bn from politicians for the purpose of influencing their members to vote a certain candidate in the coming elections.

“May I humbly request that if there be any pastor or pastors who collected such money, they should please return such as quickly as possible before the fire of the Almighty consumes you,” he posted on his official Facebook page.

This follows allegations by the Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has bribed some pastors with N6bn to work against the All Progressives Congress (APC) and its presidential candidate,Gen. Muhammadu Buhari.candidate.
