Michael Godson Confirms Relationship With Ini Edo

Some weeks ago, photos of actress Ini Edo in a very compromising bedroom position with younger actor, Michael Godson went viral online.

Based on the photos, it was generally concluded that the recently divorced actress was getting warmth from the actor after her marriage with Philip Ehiagwina hit the rocks.
Some people even said Ini may have been dating Michael, before her marriage crashed.

The fast rising Nollywood actor have reacted to this, in a recent interview with CityPeople.
‘I respect her (Ini Edo) a lot because she has done so well for herself and I am not going to deny being her friend because she is having bad press or something. She is someone I respect so much and I admire her intelligence. I love very intelligent women.
‘Ini and I are very good friends; actually we’re very close. Ini Edo is someone I’m very free with. She’s someone I can share my problems with and tell things about me. She’s the only actress I have a very close relationship with. I have a lot of actresses as friends as well but the only one I am close to is Ini,’ he told City People.
Godson also added that the controversial photos were taken on the set of a yet-to-be-released movie.

Twitter Suspends Boko Haram Account

A Twitter account linked to the Boko Haram sect has been suspended by the social media company.
The account, opened recently, had only 19 tweets before it was flagged and brought down Tuesday. Before the suspension, the account was used to propagate messages from the group and its leader, Abubakar Shekau.
The account posted messages in English, Arabic and Hausa languages. The account also posted videos, hosted on sendvid, and images, hosted on Justpaste.it.
In its last tweet, the group claimed it was still in control of Baga, a town in Borno state, which the Nigerian military said is now fully under its legitimate control.
The account was also used to circulate images of the group’s attack on Gombe town two weeks ago. The images showed the group was skilled in graphic designs.
Twitter has in recent times stepped up effort to remove accounts linked to terror organizations after the increased use of the social media by the jihadist group, ISIS.
In the past, Twitter removed accounts associated with Al-Shabaab, a militant Somali group, Islamic Jihad Union, Indian Mujahideen, and Al-Qaida.
Boko Haram’s appearance on Twitter followed an increasing clampdown on its activities by Youtube, the Google-owned online video site, and Facebook. The group shifted from delivering its video messages to journalists through couriers to posting them on Youtube. Such videos are usually taken down by video site.

Obasanjo tore expired party card; he has the current one - PDP

Nearly two weeks after former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, ordered his Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) membership card to be publicly shredded, the national leader of the party has hinted that the version of the card torn is expired.

According to the national secretary of the party, Prof Wale Oladipo the torn card was the one issued by the former acting Chairman, Alhaji Abubakar Barage and not the one issued by its current leadership.

He made this known in Abuja on Tuesday, while receiving some student union leaders under the aegis of Students Mobilization Network Group(SMNG).
“Baba is over 80 and my mother is around Obasanjo’s age. When you reach that age, you do things that only you can explain.
“Secondly, you will see that Baba did not tear our card. He asked somebody ostensibly to do the tearing and I am assuring you that the card that was torn was not the current PDP card.
“The current PDP card is signed by Mu’azu and Professor Oladipo. So the card he tore was a Baraje card, which we were going to destroy anyway. So I think Baba started it.
“Lastly, Baba is a very intelligent man. When Baba was helping us, he knew that a lot of people could have complained that they could have voted for PDP but Baba was there. You know when a big tree exists in a big forest, smaller trees cannot grow. If that big tree leaves, 10 to 20 smaller trees will grow.
“In politics, one big tree has a vote, while 20 small trees have 20 votes. If you do the arithmetic, I am a scientist, I know that head or tail, it is a win win situation for PDP,” the national secretary said.
