Kate Henshaw Rubbishes Reports That Her Nephews Were Kidnapped


This morning, reports that Kate Henshaw's nephews were kidnapped from their Magodo Estate home in Lagos went viral on the Internet.
However, the actress took to her Twitter page to refute the reports, stating that she only helped spread the news for a friend whose nephews were kidnapped.

France Admits Ownership Of Cargo Plane Detained In Kano


The French Ambassador to Nigeria, Jacques Champaign de Labriolle, has issued a statement about the Chad bound aircraft detained by Nigeria authorities in Kano airport.

In the statement, the ambassador admitted his country chartered the Russian aircraft to help convey some military hardware from Banjui(Central African Republic) to Ndjamena(Niger).

He however said there were no arms and ammunition aboard the plane, contrary to earlier reports on the matter.

BBA Hotshots: Checkout How Africans Voted


Nigerians on Twitter are not happy that, Tayo who represented the country at the just concluded Big Brother Africa Hotshots competition didn't win.
Sadly, Tayo's votes were not strong enough to win the grand prize of $300,000(N54 million).

See how Africans voted below:
Idris received five country votes which were from Kenya, Namibia, Tanzania and Uganda.
Tayo Faniran who is the first runner-up, received two country votes from Nigeria and Mozambique.
Macky 2 had just two country votes from Zambia and Rest of Africa.
JJ got a country vote from Zimbabwe.
Sipe got a country vote from Malawi.
Butterphly received no country votes.
Nhlanhla got two country votes from South Africa and Botswana.
