DJ Cuppy celebrates 22nd birthday with billionaire dad, Femi Otedola


DJ Cuppy, daughter oof billionaire business man, Femi Otedola - celebrated her 22nd birthday on Tuesday, November 11.
Unlike her graduation which was extravagant, the birthday shindig was somewhat low-key. 
But then, a billionaires low-keyed affair is a big deal for many. The Disk Jockey reportedly flew in from New York to London, to mark her birthday with her dad and few friends.

Breaking: Female Suicide Bomber Attacks Federal College Of Education, Kontagora


A woman just killed herself in a failed attempt to be a suicide bomber at Federal College Of Education, Kontagora in Niger state.
According to eyewitnesses, the suicide bomber blew up herself before she could reach her target.

Police spokesperson, ASP Ibrahim Gambari confirmed the Incident.
"As of now, three people sustained wounds while there is no casualty" he said.


Mali records second case of Ebola


A nurse at a private clinic in Bamako has become the second victim of the Ebola Virus Disease(EVD) in Mali, officials reports on Wednesday.

According to reports, the nurse was infected by a patient from Guinea who was treated at the same clinic and she has died since.
However, 15 people have been quarantined.

Mali became the sixth West African Country to record a case of Ebola when a two-year-old girl from Guinea died in October. It has not recorded any confirmed case since then, untill now.

Singer Chidinma Reveals She Was Born Blind, As She's Set To Release New Single


Wave making petite singer, Chidinma has revealed a touching secret of herself to her fans. The talented singer said, if not for God she would probably not be who she is today.

Chidinma expressed her gratitude to her parents, expecially her mother, who she said stood by her during her trying moments.

Revealing her most kept secret, Chidinma stated that she was born blind, but only opened her eyes on the 16th day. According to her, her new song -Martha, is dedicated to her mother, Mrs Martha Ekile.

"The song Martha is dedicated to my mother, Mrs Martha Ekile. I decided to show my fans a different side to Chidinma, a side never revealed to so many, a side i will forever remain grateful and indebted to Father Lord for His miraculous interventions and guidance in my life....i was conceived and certified totally blind at birth."

"For fifteen nights this woman held me in her hands and wept uncontrollably, with my father calling on God to bless newly born Chidinma with sight...On the 16th day, i opened my eyes....And they been open ever since. I was born a very fragile baby with some health conditions. Her prayers took it all away."

"Today, i dedicate my entire life selflessly and earnings to catering to visually impaired/blind people. Life is such a wonderful and colorful place of art and it must feel like hell not to envision God's creation. The "Mma Charity Foundation" is my little give back to the society." She narrated!

Publisher of Ovation Magazine and former presidential candidate, Dele Momodu has explained why he did not win the 2011 presidential election.
He said Nigerians refused to vote for him because he does not know how to steal like his counterparts.

"One of the things i love about Pastor Tunde Bakare is that he did not restrict himself to activism. I was glad in 2011 when he was Gen. Muhammadu Buhari's running mate. I, on the other hand, wanted to be president. Was serious about my ambition but Nigerians were not serious about it. Some said i lacked experience. Yes, i lack experience in stealing" he said.

Legendary Singer Kenny Rogers Plans Last Tour


Country music legend, Kenny Rogers on Tuesday announced a tour of Australia and New Zealand and said that, at age 76, it will certainly be his last.

The Texas-born singer, whose crossover appeal has helped him top the charts with a string of songs like The Gamble and Lady said he was not retiring but the January - February tour would be the last to Australia and New Zealand.

"For all the traveling I've done around the world, Australia and New Zealand remain two of my favorite places to perform. They have a great sense of humour, and they've always treated me with such great respect, so for that, i say thank you," he said in a statement.

Besides his Solo work, Rogers is known for his collaboration with Dolly Parton.

Dangote Foundation Pledges $3 million To Fight Ebola


The Dangote Foundation has pledged to donate $3 million to a fund established by the African Union(AU) to contain the Ebola Virus Disease in West Africa.

The president of Dangote Group, Aliko Dangote made the pledge on behalf of the Foundation in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia during a meeting with some AU business leader.
This was contained in a statement on Tuesday by the Dangote Foundation.
