Less than 24 hours after the much-publicised ceasefire deal between Federal Government and Boko Haram, the terrorist group attacked two communities in Borno.
According to reports, about 20 Boko Haram fighters in two pick-up vans stormed Maikadiri part of Borno on Friday evening, shooting at homes.
Also, there was fresh attack on Shaffa, Hawul Local Government Area, south of Borno on Saturday morning, scores of Boko Haram insurgents rode to the village, shooting at homes.
Eight people were killed, according to an eye-witness. Many of the residents of the town fled into the bush.
