Oh No! Nigerian Girl Dies In Thailand After Buttock Surgery Fails


A British-Nigerian woman, Joy Williams 24, died in Thailand after suffering an infection when a buttock augmentation operation went wrong, Police in Thailand confirmed.
According to reports, Williams is from Thamesmead London, but was born in Nigeria.

The officer in charge of the case, Colonel Marayard said, she underwent the operation on October 14, but her wounds became infected. She was in severe pain and had to return to the clinic on Thursday to have the implants removed, however she died shortly after the second operation.

The Doctor who carried out the second operation, Sompob Sansiri, has been charged with causing her death due to negligence. He is accused of carrying out night surgery without a license.

Williams is said to have struggled with self esteem issues and has previously had a plastic surgery on her nose.
