Synagogue Building Collapse: LASUTH collect DNA samples to identify victims

The Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH), Ikeja, on Wednesday said it has concluded the collection of DNA samples for identification of the 115 victims of the recently collapsed guesthouse of the synagogue church.

Olawale Oke, The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, made this known at a news conference in Lagos.

Oke said, because 80% of the victims are South Africans, a competent laboratory has been selected in South Africa, to do the DNA.

"The post-motem for all of them have been concluded, the dental recognition process done, so we are just waiting for the results to be out." He said.
