Nigeria's former Foreign Affairs Minister, Gbenga Ashiru is dead.
It was reported that he died earlier on Saturday in a South Africa hospital, after a long battle with brain tumor. He had been hospitalized for over 3months.
The Ogun state diplomat, was among the nine ministers relieved of appointments in a cabinet reshuffle in September 2013.
He was aged 66.
