One Mrs Adeline Kweku Keh, based in the UK has died shortly after childbirth.
Reports says she died allegedly refusing a blood transfusion for religious reason. Until her death, the 40-year-old was a dedicated Jehovah Witness member.
According to London Evening Standard, Adeline and her husband, Kweku Keh had been believing God for a child for many years. She reportedly endured years of failed fertility treatments, until finally; she was able to conceive naturally. Only to die after giving birth to her son, Mawsi, through a Ceasarean section at Homerton Hospital.
Despite being diagnosed with acute respiratory distress syndrome, she refused to receive blood transfusion due to her religious beliefs.
