Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Infinity Television has been shut down by Lagos Internal Revenue Service, LIRS for owing the state government several millions.
This happened after a protest by workers of the TV station on Tuesday, over non payment of 10months salaries.
Ailing Infinity TV located on 16, Moyibat Oyefusi street at Omole Phase 1, is a Direct To Home, DTH Cable TV owned by pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy and was incorporated in 2009.
As members of staff of the company were protesting non-payment of salaries on Tuesday, officials of the LIRS stormed the place and shut down the company and placed a noticed on the gate after locking it with a padlock.
The aggrieved workers said they have decided to storm Christ Embassy's 31st December global service to make their grievances known to Pastor Chris, whom they believed may not be aware of the happenings in the company.
