INEC Extends PVC Collection To March 8

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), has yet again, postponed the collection of permanent voter cards.
As a result of the rescheduling of the 2015 general elections, INEC has extended the deadline for collection of PVC by registered voters for four more weeks.
A statement released by the Secretary to the Commission, Augusta Ogakwu, revealed that PVC collection will then hold until March 8th, 2015.
INEC had on Saturday, February 7, rescheduled the 2015 general elections by six weeks, citing security challenges.
The statement said: “The national elections (i.e. Presidential and National Assembly) have been rescheduled to hold on March 28th 2015 while the state elections (Governorship and State Assembly) will now hold on April 11th 2015.”

“The Commission hopes that this extension will finally avail every registered person yet to collect his/her PVC the opportunity to do so in readiness for the general elections.”

  1. Honestly i think these people are a bunch of confused people, i have been to the designated center thrice without getting my PVC. I registered in 2011 with my friend just after me, he got his own and mine up till now is not ready, the place of collection is so rowdy with no arrangement, standing in the sun for hours. Abeg, am not going back again until the whole thing is sorted out, just wasting time and resources, the whole exercise is not well arranged at all.
