The $150,000 pearl-studded dress worn by Lupita Nyong'o to the Oscars and then stolen from her hotel room this week, has been returned.
On Friday, the thief took the stunning gown back to the hotel and called TMZ to confess the crime and revealed where to find it(in a garbage bag).
According to TMZ, the thief called and confessed that he saw Lupita's hotel room door ajar on Wednesday and went in to grab the dress. He and his accomplices allegedly took the pearls off the gown with the intention to sell and took them to an unidentified location, where they were told they weren’t real.
The thief claims the Calvin Klein gown reportedly valued at about $150,000 is actually worthless. He claims the pearls are fake and told TMZ he wanted the world to know about "Hollywood fake bulls*t". That's why he took the dress back to the hotel and alerted the media. The Police went to the hotel to check out the story and found the trash bag containing the dress.
