“Abubakar Shekau must surrender. We know where he is. If he doesn’t give himself up he will suffer the same fate as his compatriots.”
“He (Shekau) was in Dikwa two days ago. He managed to get away but we know where he is. It’s in his interests to surrender,” Deby added.
Earlier this week, Chadian troops liberated from Boko Haram Dikwa village which is about 85 kilometres away from Maiduguri.
During a firefight with the insurgents, Chadian soldiers managed to kill over 100 of the Boko Haram terrorists.
