Super Eagles will fly again – Sunday Oliseh vows

New Super Eagles boss, Sunday Oliseh, has promised to return the team back to its glory days.
The 40-year-old was unveiled as replacement for Stephen Keshi on Wednesday and has signed a three-year contract
“We have the talent to change our fortunes, to regain the respect we once had and match that with results,” Oliseh told BBC Sport.
This is the biggest job in African football. With everyone’s support we can get the Super Eagles flying again.”
“I am here today because I believe in the NFF and the big project before us. We had a passionate discussion and the result is the mandate to manage Nigeria,”
“The job doesn’t start tomorrow, it starts now, we need the support of everyone because together we can make our country great.”
Oliseh is the fourth member of the hallowed 1994 class to coach the Eagles, after Austin Eguavoen, Samson Siasia and Keshi.

  1. Kudos to Sunday Oliseh and the NFF for the good job, may his tenure brings hope and fortune for the Nigerian football that has lost his glory. Please can the Eagles be returned back to National stadium, Lagos where they made their marks? We've had enough of going round the states, Lagos stadium is the home ground and true support of the Eagles, there's no place like national stadium surulere.
