Khloe Kardashian, 31, has graced the December/January cover of Redbook and it is literally flawless. She looks stunning for this photo shoot and she has so much to say about everything from butt implants, Caitlyn Jenner, and Lamar Odom, her current beau, James Harden.
The star’s interview with the magazine actually took place two weeks before Odom’s hospitalization. She said of her estranged husband, “My biggest wish is for him to be happy. I still have a great deal of love for him. That doesn’t mean I have to be by his side all the time.”
As for Harden, Kardashian addressed bringing him into her very public lifestyle. “Our family brings a different amount of — not fame — attention,” she noted. “Instead of just being known for his talent, he’s now known for being someone’s boyfriend. We’re used to it, but for a person new to this, I’m like: ‘Oh, God. I’m sorry.'”
She also touched on her relationship with Caitlyn Jenner, saying, “It was difficult for me that Bruce wasn’t honest with me. The transition had nothing to do with it. I love Caitlyn. She still likes us to call her our dad, but it’s hard when, you know, Dad’s now wearing a dress.”
Kardashian acknowledged that Odom cannot walk on his own, and that he still needs significant cognitive rehabilitation. Of their relationship status, she insisted, “I’m still married for a multitude reasons, but intimacy is not one of them.” She also said he is aware that she’s still dating Harden, and called the release of her book coinciding with the medical emergency “awkward timing.”
