Revealed: How Former Kogi State Governor, Abubakar Audu Died

Former governor of Kogi State and All Progressives Gubernatorial Candidate, Prince Abubakar Audu suddenly passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2015 after he suffered a heart attack.

The former governor’s family members have come out to reveal that there was foul play involved in his death.

Sources who spoke to The Trent have revealed that he was probably poisoned.

Quoting the source who refused to be identified, “My uncle was poisoned, he was poisoned.
“He shared a meal with a top APC chieftain from the South West (name withheld) a few days ago. Since then, he has not been himself. His death is planned. It is all about usurping his position.”
Another source said he died of a massive heart attack shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission declared the election inconclusive.

Daily Post also reported that he vomited blood shortly before his death.

A close family member who spoke to DailyPost said "I spoke with someone in late Prince Audu's family"
The person told me that the former governor repeatedly vomited blood. The family tried to rush him to the hospital but he died in the process. There is speculation of food poison or spiritual attack but no one can say for now But his family confided in me that blood kept gushing out from his mouth.”
