Barcelona’s Lionel Messi has been amazing in 2015, and has received numerous awards over the course of the year, with the latest coming at the Globe Soccer Awards.
Messi, who is the front-runner to win the 2015 FIFA Ballon D’Or, beat 2014 winner Cristiano Ronaldo and Juventus keeper Gianlugi Buffon to win the award.
“Obviously I am very happy to be here and delighted to win this award but as always, the most important thing is the collective, the team,” Messi said.
“It is difficult to pick out one moment from what has been an extraordinary year for Barcelona—the whole year has been wonderful.”
