I Have A Girlfriend, Stop Calling Me Gay, It hurts - Benson Okonkwo

Fast rising actor, Benson Okonkwo who is known for his homosexual roles in movies, has reacted to insinuation that he he is gay.

In a recent interview with PUNCH, the actor claimed he is not gay, adding that his lifestyle is different from the roles he plays in movies.

"Most times, i grant interviews to blogs, the subject is always twisted out of context. Most of those commenting on those blogs would say that i am Gay. Maybe it is because of the roles i have played in movies."

"They should understand that i am only acting and the roles have nothing to do with my personality. I get embarrassed when people mistake the roles i play in movies for reality and call me Gay. And to think that I've always said that i am not Gay! It really hurts."

"I am not bothered by what people are saying about me. To be honest with you, if i felt that the comments were a big problem to me, i would have stopped granting interviews long ago. What my critics don't know is that, i have a steady girl friend. But i wont talk about her. I don't like to talk about my private life" he said.

Footballer Emmanuel Adebayor Accuses His Mother Of Witcraft, Ejects Her From His Mansion

Emmanuel Adebayor has claimed that his mother and relatives are using "Juju" (witcraft) to end his football career.

The Togo and Tottenham striker, has stayed away from his family including his mother, who he went with to receive the African Footballer of the year award in Lagos, Nigeria.

"For the past six years, Adebayor has rejected his mother and his immediate family whilst doing charity outside on premise that our mother is a witch" Adebayor's cousin, Margaret told Peace Fm, Ghana.

"We have been thinking of his future as a footballer and we didn't want this issue out in the media, but it is becoming too much. Could you believe Adebayor ordered his macho-men to sack our mother and his mother from a house he built in Togo, claiming she is a witch?"

"As we speak our mother lives in an apartment rented by our junior brother, Kola Adebayor who is currently in Germany. My mother weeps bitterly about the issue everyday. Anytime his mother or any of us (his relatives) call and he realizes, he will quickly cut the line."

"I personally supervised the building of his house in Trassaco and he gave us an apartment in the house. But all of a sudden he changed his attitude towards us, one afternoon his macho-men came to drive us away from the house" Margaret told the world openly.

But Adebayor, who admitted having problems with his relations denied the allegation and said it's them who refused to come forward for the issue to be resolved.

 

"Ask my sister Margaret, if i did not build them a house in East Legon, and what happened to it. I bought my younger sister Lucia, a car worth $35,000, where is it?

If they want the issue to be resolved, they should stop spreading the news and let's meet to resolve it but they ain't  willing to do so" Adebayo said.

Peter Okoye, the outspoken of the Psquare duo has taken to his Instagram to mock the drama that played out at the National Assembly Thursday.

Yesterday, the House of Reps complex in Abuja was besieged with lots of security operatives, preventing the speaker, Aminu Tambuwal and lots of other lawmakers access into the complex. In retaliation, the lawmakers resolved to scaling the locked gate in an embarassing manner.

"Shame! Shame! And Shame again!! Pls when law makers are breaking the law....what do they expect we the citizens to do,...to help them fix it?

On the other hand, Patrick Obahiagbon(pictured above) who is known for his use of high sounding words, had this to saay on his Facebook page.

45 Killed In Fresh Boko Haram Attack In Borno

Suspected Boko Haram insurgents have killed about 45 people in Azaya Kura village, Mafa LGA of Borno state, in a fresh attack.

Shettima Lawan, the caretaker chairman of Mafa, said the attack took place on Wednesday. The militants were said to have stormed the village on many motorcycles, around 12pm.

Lawan who visited Azaya on Thursday, condemned the attack saying; "How can some people be so wicked to kill innocent people, 45 people at once without confrontation."

The Police have said that their officers and men stormed the National Assembly on Thursday, following intelligence report of a likely invasion of the House of Reps by hoodlums and thugs, according to a statement signed by the Force PRO, Emmanuel Ojukwu.

"The Nigerian Police Force promptly deployed it's personnel to the premises of the National Assembly to prevent a breakdown of law and order.

Consequently, the police condoned the area and began screening of all members and visitors alike."

Drama As David Mark Orders National Assembly Shutdown

The Senate President, David Mark has announced an immediate shutdown of the National Assembly after an attempt to stop the speaker of House of Representatives, Aminu Tambuwal from the assembly, plunged into chaos.

Police fired teargas, to push back a surging crowd Thursday as Mr. Tambuwal was denied access thrice before his loyalists smuggled him into the House of Representatives chamber later.

The House was in session at the time of the announcement, and it is yet unclear whether the Reps members will abide by the declaration.

Tuesday night, while having fun with housemates in the ongoing Big Brother Africa show, media personality, Uti Nwachukwu stated that marriage is not for everyone.

The conversation started with Nigerian housemate, Tayo asking when Uti would settle down, Uti replied saying- "You can't decide when to get married; only God will tell you when it's time. The divorce rate in Nigeria is pretty scary. Marriage is not by age, you have to be ready. Everybody is marrying and divorcing, it's pretty scary. 

We are having highest rates of divorce ever. It isn't compulsory for everyone to be married. Some people were born to be single."

Speaking further, he said; 

"You can't decide for yourself when you are ready to get hitched. Look at Tayo, he says he would like to get married to his baby mama next year, seeing that age is not on his side as well, but he needs to be sure that he is spiritually and financially ready to get married. Marriage is not something one should rush into. Make sure God says it is time before yoy plunge."

Jim Iyke needs another deliverance, 7 demons entered him as soon as he left Synagogue - Emma Totolos

Nollywood actor, Emma Ehumadu aka Totolos who was involved in a ghastly car accident while on a movie set in Asaba, Delta state, has said his colleague Jim Iyke needs another deliverance. 

According to the actor, Jim Iyke's carelessness caused the accident and he has not shown any form of sympathy since the accident, which occured in March 2014.

Jim Iyke was reportedly on the same set and was also involved in the accident, but did not suffer any injury.

Emma who suffered a head injury from the accident, went into Coma and was treated in Nigeria before he was flown Abroad for further treatment. He has since returned and he is back to work.

Upon his return, he lashed out at Jim Iyke, accusing him of being insensitive to other people's problems. He also said Jim needs further deliverance.

Speaking to Diamond Celebrities he said;

"Jim Iyke needs another deliverance, the one at Synagogue didn't work on him, it is like seven more evil spirits entered into him the moment he left the Church. He was reckless in his driving, which led to the accident that nearly killed me, if not for God."

"After all said and done, he abandoned me without even a check on how the surgery went. I wonder how he reasons. He just carried on with his life like no one matters except him and him alone. If i had died, he wouldn't have cared too. He would still carry on like nothing happened. But God is above man...am still here and even better."
