How Newborn Baby Was Found Alive After Being Dumped In A Drain For Five Days

A newborn baby survived five days after being dumped in a storm drain in Australia.

The seven-day-old baby boy was found abandoned at the bottom of a 9ft deep pipe, which was covered with 440lb concrete slab still wrapped in a hospital blanket.

It took six men, including a police officer to lift the slab and rescue the baby.

David Otte was cycling along the road with his 18-year-old daughter Harvey, when they heard a strange noise coming from the drain in New South Waless.

He said: "It was a bit surreal actually. How could anyone do it? I, myself have kids and we're expecting a baby in a few more months so, it's not good that someone's going through this and has done this to a little one."

Police believe the baby had been pushed through a small opening to the drain and were concerned he may have suffered internal injuries from the fall. The child is now in Westmead Children's Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

According to Daily Mirror, a woman was charged with the attempted murder of the child yesterday. She was refused bail and to appear in court today. The baby was abandoned in the drain since Tuesday.

Boko Haram Kills 48 In Fresh Attack

Boko Haram gunmen killed 48 fish vendors in Borno state, near the border of Chad, the head of the fish traders told AFP on sunday.

"Scores of Boko Haram fighters blocked a route linking Nigeria and Chad, near the fishing village of Doro Baga on the shores of Lake Chad on Thursday and killed a group of 48 fish traders on their way to Chad to buy fish" Abubarka Gemandi said.

He further said; "The Boko Haram gunmen slit the throats of some of the men and tied the hands and legs of the others before throwing them into the lake to drown. The attackers killed their victims silently without the use of gun to avoid attracting attention from the multi-national troops."

News of the attack was slow to emerge, due to the destruction of mobile phone towers in the area by Boko Haram in previous attack.

A military officer in Maiduguri confirmed the attack but said details were sketchy.

Why I Wont Remarry - Bianca Ojukwu

Bianca Ojukwu, the widow of former Biafran leader, Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu and Nigeria Ambassador to Spain has said she won't remarry.

She stated her reasons, in a recent chat with Vanguard.

Here her: " People marry i think because they need to come together, live together, raise a family together. It's a rite of passage and i think i have fulfilled my part.
Why i said that is, i have gone through marriage, lived with what a consider a wonderful man who gave me 23years of happiness, of fulfillment, i literally felt i was the luckiest woman to have had a man who gave me utter dedication and, above all, wonderful children. So my pledge to him is that,  i will devote my entire life to taking care of our children, raising them properly, teaching them ideals that he cherished and held dear and trying to carry on with his legacy. So i don't have any compelling need to remarry and, in any case, my time is very limited; so i am trying to channel it properly towards raising my children."

When asked how she's able to contain romantic advances from men

"Nigerian men are not aggressive; they may be aggressive in business, in their career pursuits, but in that particular area of aggressively pursuing a romantic interest, i have been very impressed by the level of decency and decorum they project. I mean, it might be just my own experience. They have treated me with a lot of respect, defrence - they have been protective in a way as if to say this is a treasure that we must protect. I get on flights, and i see people stand up, take my luggage to my car, they have been amazing. I haven't encountered that sort of pursuit and i have been very touched and humbled by the way they have treated me."

Singer, Oritsefemi who has two daughters from two different women has revealed he has no plans of marrying any of the.

In a recent interview with Vanguard, he explained that he had these children during his early struggling days in Ajegunle but plans to tie the knot with is fiancee, who he has dating for two years.

A lot of fans are confused about your marital status. For the record, are you married officially?

Honestly, for now i am not married. But definitely, i am going to get married very soon. I have a fiancée and we have been dating for close to two years now.

But you have children? 

Yes, i have two beautiful daughters who are between ten and nine years. I have a family and I'm from a polygamous home. I have a responsibility as a father.

Isn't your Fiancée the mother of your two daughters?

No. My two daughters are from different mothers and i am not marrying any of them.

What happened? 

It's a long story. Back in time as a street boy, growing up in the ghetto city of Ajegunle, i had some childhood girlfriends who got pregnant. Then, i had no means of livelihood to sustain them. But i ensured that i took care of my kids right from when they were born. Unfortunately, i couldn't take care of their mothers because of my financial status then. But now that God has elevated me, i am planning to take my children abroad.

Singer, Flavour N'Abania has finally addressed reports of him welcoming a baby recently with one Sandra Okagbue, an ex-model.

In an interview with Saturday Beats, the singer who loves to show off his hawt abs on Instagram refused to confirm or deny the report. He however revealed that he doesn't plans of  walking down the aisle anytime soon.

"I don't like to talk about being a father but i don't have plans for marriage right now and it is because my career is very demanding. I would always want to spend time with my family and it is not something i can do now because i am all over the place. I was raised in the proper way with my parents always watching over me and i want to do the same to my family. For now, i don't want to get married" he stated.

He further revealed why he shows off his hot body on social media in the raunchiest shots.

He died in the early hours of today, Saturday November 22, 2014. Until his death, Chaz B anchored "Sharing Life Issues" on Rhythm 93.7 Fm.

The news of his death was made public by DJ Humility on Twitter, and also confirmed on STV breaking news.

However, the real cause of his untimely death, is still sketchy.
