Buhari swears in new INEC chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, alongside five commissioners(Photos)

President Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in the new Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Chairman, Professor Mahmud Yakubu along with five Commissioners, viz. Antonla Taiye Okoosi Simbine for North-central, Alhaji Baba Shettima Arfo for North-east, Mohammed Mustafa Lecky for South-south, Amina Zakari for North East and Soyebi Adedeji Solomon for South-west.

Also present at the swearing in ceremony were VP Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Rep, Yakubu Dogara.

After the church service, an exclusive house party was held at the celebrant’s residence on Ajose Adeogun Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

SAY WHAT?!: Vivica A. Fox Implies That 50 Cent Is Gay On ‘WWHL’

Vivica A. Fox may not be over her breakup with ex-boyfriend 50 Cent. The veteran actress and singer alongside reality star, Kandi Burruss appeared on Sunday, November 8, 2015’s episode of Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen.

During the interview, Andy brought up 50’s comments about Fox’s hit TV show Empire‘s dwindling ratings, which 50 said was due to “too much gay stuff.”Vivica, who dated 50 Cent from 2003 to late 2004, stated that it was like calling the kettle black saying:

“He just seems like he’s just got something that’s not so clear.”

She went on to reference 50‘s XXLmagazine, where he was a little too close to then new rapper Soulja Boy, saying that 50 Cent looked like a booty snatcher:

In an earlier interview with Madam Noire, Fox had opened up about her romantic relationship with 50 Cent, explaining:

"Even though he is absolutely the love of my life, dating 50 Cent was difficult. I really, really cared for him. I loved him very much and I always will, but he just wasn’t right for me. And that’s hard when you really, really love a person in your heart and you want to be with them, but you finally have to say, ‘He’s just not right for me.’ I wish him the best. He is amazing, and baby, he fine, but to just know that if you love someone, to just know that they’re not right for you. Sometimes love ain’t always right. The heart wants what it wants, but sometimes it’s just not right."

The 2015 Miss Nigeria Pageant took place Saturday night at Oriental Hotel and Cross River’s representative, Pamela Peter-Vigboro Leesi, emerged the winner.

The event was hosted by Osas Ajibade while the judges of the night included Audu Maikori, Helen Prest Ajayi, Ruth Osime, Jumoke Adenowo, Lanre Da Silva, Mai Atafo, Isoken Ogiemwoniyi, and Chima Ude.
