‘I saw 106 APC members die in an accident… Buhari might be assassinated’ – Cleric
A Benin-based cleric, Prophet Jordan Iwuala, has prophesied that President Muhammadu Buhari may be assassinated.
Iwuala, General Overseer of the Redemption Tabernacle Church of All Nations, disclosed this while stating his 2016 prophecies for the country.
The cleric said that in order for Buhari to avoid being assassinated, he should allow certain elders to use three pieces of old N20 notes to pray for him.
Iwuala further stated that the former governor of Abia State, Orji Uzor Kalu, has been ordained by God to represent the Igbo nation in any discussion with the Federal Government to succeed.
Prophet Iwuala also warned the Federal Government to prepare for the use of chemical weapons by the insurgent group, Boko Haram, saying that Boko Haram would shift their operations to western part of the country, especially Lagos State.
“I saw 106 APC party members die in an accident. Three upstairs buildings for students under commissioning by former Governor of Akwa Ibom, Godswill Akpabio collapsed and killed people.”
“I saw Oshiomhole in charge of Petroleum industry. I saw mass slaughter of old politicians nationwide and the public applauded the action. I saw a structure carrying the World Olympic Games collapse to rubble. Former deputy speaker, Emeka Ihedioha, should pray against death, humiliation and disgrace.”
TY Bello transforms an Agege bread seller into a stunning model, See her pics on ThisDay Style
For anyone who doubts the positive power of the internet and social media, this one’s for them!
Photographer, TY Bello announced last week that this beautiful picture of a model and a lady selling bread was a coincidence.
While photographing UK based singer Tinie Tempah on the street of Lagos for a ThisDay Style cover feature, a particular bread hawker photo bombed the shot that has now gone viral. Talk about being in the right place at the right time!
It was such a great image that TY decided to include it in the final selection. Until people started asking if she was a model.
When the photos from Tinie’s shoot were published on social media, everyone kept asking about “the model”. Ty and Tinie explained that she was not a model and was selling bread on the streets at the time of the shoot.
Fast forward to the present and Olajumoke Orisaguna is on the cover of ThisDay Style magazine.
Once she was found, TY along with Makeup Artist, Bimpe Onakoya and Hairstylist, Zubby Definition, made the 27 year old mother of 2 over for the shoot which we get to see today.
A documentary is also being made by Ema Edosio.
What an amazing story.

"Im Enjoying My Marriage" - Lara Oshiomole slams rumours she's divorcing her husband, Adams Oshiomole
Recently, it went viral that Lara Oshiomole, the wife of Edo state governor Adams Oshiomole, filed for divorce from her husband just months after their wedding, but Mrs Oshiomole’s spokesperson has released a statement refuting that claim.
The reports claimed Mrs Oshiomole was filing for divorce because her husband is too fetishistic, but the Executive Director, Media and Public Affairs, Governor’s Office, John Mayaki, has described the publication as “warped imaginations of the purveyor of lies.”
“The rumour mongers are well advised to find more productive engagements to deploy their energies rather than market inanities about public personalities all in their bid to sell their medium. Which Court of Law was the alleged divorce initiated and to whom was it served? Which country, state, municipal or county, if any, is the Court situated? And when was the action/suit filed? Of course the writers didn’t bother to inform their readers. The truth however is that the answers only exist in the warped imagination of the purveyors of the lies.”
The couple got married in Edo State in May 2015.

Erstwhile President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo on Friday doubted the ability of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s Federal Government to rescue the abducted Chibok girls alive.

Obasanjo affirmed that anyone saying the girls would return was simply lying.

Obasanjo’s reaction follows several promises by the current administration that it would rescue the abducted Chobok girls alive.

Popular Nollywood actor accused of lying about his health to get money(Photos)
About two days ago, news about raising N7m funds for veteran Actor Olumide Bakare, made the waves.

Olumide Bakare
The actor who was diagnosed with heart and long related disease cried out at that time saying: “This is beyond me; I can no longer handle this on my own. I need financial assistance. Help me to beg Nigerians to help me so that I will not die. I need their prayers to survive this.”
According to reports, the actor claimed he needed 5 to N7 million to live again.
However, Best of Nollywood Tv, a site that shared the actor’s account details, has said the actor might be using his ill-health to milk good Nigerians. According to the site, the actor has already gotten N3.2m within 48 hours of the campaign and a politician is set to give him N3m.
But an audio conversation is said to be available where Olumide’s close friend spoke extensively about his true situation and in the conversation he alleged that the doctors in UCH told him that all he needs was less than 200,000 only.
When the actor was challenged, he said: “I don’t need the money of nollywood and if I have been here since January 18th without nollywood I will survive.”
Obasanjo and Tinubu must apologise to Nigerians – Etcetera
The problem today is that it is doubtful if the current administrative system under President Buhari, is imbued with the right mix of skills and values to successfully implement a well-articulated programme of change’ – Olusegun Obasanjo at the conference of Ibadan School of Government and Public Policy.
At what point did Obasanjo realise this ehn? After they have sold Nigerians to propaganda? If anyone should speak at this point, it shouldn’t be Obasanjo. It shouldn’t be someone who has his hands soiled with oil from the cookie jar. A man who did everything to remain in power for a third term? A man who was ready to alter the constitution to meet his personal and selfish interest? If anyone should speak right now, it shouldn’t be former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
He has robbed himself of the morality and right to criticise any government whether past, present or future. All the while people were screaming at the top of their voices that President Buhari was not qualified and didn’t have what it takes to lead us into eldorado, it was the likes of the former president that did everything possible to get him elected. So why come out now to challenge his capabilities? Isn’t this crying when the head has been cut off? Isn’t it too late?
Buhari is president already and in a democracy like ours, nothing can be done anymore until after four years. And Nigerians might as well brace themselves for the longest four years in our nation’s history. Four years of gnashing of teeth and hardship because of the mistakes of few individuals.
The CBN has started deduction of 50 naira from every transaction in the bank. Is that not robbery? Are we cursed with leadership? The government is supposed to alleviate the sufferings of its people but all this government has done is to increase the plight of ordinary Nigerians aided by CBN flip flopping policies.
The government of Goodluck Jonathan was crappy in all ramifications; in fact I strongly believe that if we must progress as a nation, the Goodluck Jonathan era in office should be probed. But looking at what we have today, the whole country is in tatters. Nothing is working. The CBN is confused, making policies today and rescinding them tomorrow. The naira is collapsing beyond recognition and repair. Nigerians are leaving the country in droves daily.
This is what Obasanjo and Tinubu have left us with.
A country said to be one of the world’s fastest growing economies just a couple of months ago has been thrown to the dogs. At the rate the naira is plunging, we are fast becoming another Zimbabwe where everyone is a billionaire but can’t afford a loaf of bread.
The likes of Olusegun Obasanjo and Bola Ahmed Tinubu must apologise to Nigerians for foisting Buhari on Nigerians. They must apologise to the nation for the present state of the economy. It is now crystal clear that all they wanted was to see the back of Goodluck Jonathan with no plan for the aftermath.
Since May 29th, we are still waiting to know the plan of this government. What is the blueprint? The country is on auto-pilot. Buhari contested for over eight years before becoming the president, and one would expect that a man vying for any position for that long would have sat down to analyse the problems in the system and have a solution at hand to guide him when he gets into office. But it is not the case with the current government.
We can see that they were only interested in seeing Goodluck Jonathan out of office. And I believe they never thought the man was capable of losing the election. They must have thought he was going to rig and remain in power at all cost, even to the detriment of the nation, like they would have done in his position.
In a sane country, former president Obasanjo would have retired quietly to a simple life after his bid for a third term in office collapsed in his face. And for some farfetched reasons, Buhari doesn’t seem to want or doesn’t seem to be capable of recognising that recycling politicians would only result in the failure of his government.
The president must ask himself what Obasanjo and Tinubu achieved in government? Are we not suffering today because of their mismanagement? Mr. President, if your war against corruption must be viewed as fair and not a witch-hunt, it must be extended to all and sundry.
Finally, the female soldier who gathered her colleagues to beat up a man for saying she is beautiful should be brought to book. Those soldiers should be dismissed immediately. Even an illiterate will not react to being called beautiful in such an animalistic manner. It is clear that our military men are ignorant of their role in the society. How do you beat up someone for saying you are beautiful? You don’t even need an education or common sense to know that “you are beautiful” is a compliment.
Public officials in uniform have embarrassed the nation enough. From corruption to drinking ogogoro in public in their uniforms, to beating and molesting people with the slightest provocation or no provocation at all, and smoking of Marijuana and collecting of bribes, fighting themselves publicly over bribes and so on, it is time the government looked into how these men in uniforms are trained.
Photos: Moment Obasanjo Prostrated Before Ooni Of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo in obeisance to cultural tradition and as a mark of respect prostrated before the new Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi during his visit on Friday to the palace of the royal father.
In line with Yoruba tradition, all subjects who appear before a monarch must prostrate as a sign of respect and the ex-President who is far more older was no exception.
Obasanjo, 82, was paying a courtesy call on the 41 year old monarch at his expansive palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
Nicki Minaj's boo, Meek Mill sentenced to 90 days house arrest
Meek Mill won’t be going to jail, but he won’t be free either. On Friday February 5, a judge ruled that the Philadelphia rapper must serve three months of house arrest for violating his parole.

I sometimes wonder… why I came to rule ‘when they had spent all the money’ – Buhari
President Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, revealed that he sometimes wonders why he chose to contest for the presidency, at this point in time when- the treasury had been looted dry, the economy is in shambles and the price of crude oil continues to nosedive.
Speaking on Friday, while addressing members of the Nigerian community in the United Kingdom, the President said even though he fought for his present position, he often ruminates on the timing.
The President however, said he continues to pray that God shows mercy on Nigeria as she faces tons of challenges from various quarters.
He said, “With the problems we have in this government, I sometimes wonder. At least, this time around, I asked for it, I prayed for it, I went round the country and I asked for it. But the first time under the military, I allowed the military to take decision.
“But I say why me? Why is it that it is when they have spent all the money, when they made the country insecure that I returned?
“Why didn’t I come when the treasury was full? Oil price was over $140 per barrel and when I came, it slipped down to $30. Why me?
“I keep on praying to God to pity Nigeria and its over 170 million people who are exposed to climate change, illiteracy and poverty.”
Rapper Tyga accuses Blac Chyna of being a bad mom, Seeks custody of their son
Rapper Tyga wants to fight his ex Blac Chyna in court for full custody of their son King Cairo after her arrest last week, according to a new report.
The former couple currently share custody of the toddler, but following her arrest for possessing ecstasy and “public intoxication” at Austin airport, Tyga is now planning to use this in a legal battle against the model, TMZ reports.
Sources close to the Rack City writer has told TMZ that he was shocked by Blac Chyna’s arrest and now he’s concerned that any problems the mother-of-one might have with drugs or alcohol could be putting their child at risk.
Tyga has reportedly filed legal documents to petition to change the current custody agreement and allegedly believes that Blac’s recent arrest proves that he’s more responsible as a parent than she is.
He is asking that he should have King during the week and only allow her visits at the weekends.
So…if this happens will Kylie step up as step-mom? How does that work?! Oh, and Tyga is apparently cool with Rob Kardashian dating his baby mama and playing with his son. He’s secure with his spot in his son’s life.

Caitlyn Jenner reveals that she had her breasts removed when she fell inlove with Kris Jenner
Caitlyn Jenner
's 2015
transition
and
Vanity Fair debut
made global headlines – but a lesser known fact is that Jenner, now 66, made her first attempt to transition back in the 1980s.
"I actually had my boobs removed. I never told anyone that," "I started on hormones. I was a good 36B. I loved them. I thought this was fabulous. My mission at that point was to transition before I was 40. Got to 39 ... I just couldn't go any further," she added.
"We hit it off from day one,""I was very honest with her. I had to be, I was a 36B. Everything's really heading in the right direction, and I made this decision to move on with my life, Kris and I together with this family.""The rules with Kris and I were, 'Don't dress up, certainly around the house. If you really need to do that, when you're on the road, take stuff and do that,'"
2Baba’s manager, Efe Omorogbe ‘sets the record straight’ on Blackface’s allegations (READ)
Following Black face‘s allegations of intellectual property theftagainst Innocent ‘2Baba’ Idbia,Efe Omorogbe the manager of the Hypertek act has come to clarify issues surrounding the issue.
Read the press statement issued by the NOW management owner.
”When my attention was drawn to Blackface’s twitter rant about the ‘theft’ of his songs by his ex-band mate 2Baba, my initial reaction was to ignore what I perceived as an obvious marketing gimmick for his The reaction from a vast majority of people on social media who read about the allegations was evidence that the ploy had backfired.
Blackface’s press interviews since the twitter rant has made it necessary for me to present the flip side and set the records straight.
1. 2Baba and Blackface do have a bunch of songs they co-wrote in their days as Plantashun Boiz.
2. Both artistes have collectively and individually recorded and commercially released materials from this collection.
3. 2Baba has always given Blackface (Austin Ahmedu) co-writing credit every time he recorded any song that has Blackface’s input – No matter how minimal.
4. Blackface has neither given 2Baba (Innocent Idibia) co-writing credit nor sought ‘permission’ to record any of the materials they jointly authored.
5. Blackface has earned royalties off his shared publishing rights for about a decade.
6. A huge chunk of income he has made derives from royalties earned by the commercial exploitation of the successesful materials performed/recorded by 2Baba.
7. 2Baba did not and couldn’t have stolen ‘Let Somebody Love You’ from Blackface. The song was released about 2 years ago. Blackface complained about his name being misspelt on the CD sleeve and we personally apologised to him.
8. Yes. Blackface contributed to the writing of the first verse of the song. The second verse was entirely 2Baba. Bridget Kelly wrote her verse and Efe Omorogbe wrote the outro verse.
9. Efe Omorogbe is not 2Baba’s manager on ‘Let Somebody Love You’ but a co-writer.
10. The outro verse was lifted from the song ‘How?’ written in 1997 and recorded in 1999 at Dolphin studios, Surulere. Blackface didn’t write that bit. Couldn’t have written that bit. Blackface cannot in 2016, touch Efe Omorogbe’s writing from 1997.
11. Blackface should be honoured to have shared co-writing credit with 2Baba. I am. For each and every song we have collaborated on.
12. Blackface should be grateful 2Baba recorded their co-authored materials to ensure a lifetime of royalty income for him.
12. Blackface should record and release his own version of ‘Let Somebody Love You’ and keep 100% publishing on that version. Oops! 2Baba will still be entitled to a share.
13. Blackface is not in 2Baba’s league as a songwriter. Their post-Plantashun Boiz’ catalogs speak for themselves.
14. Blackface should go to court to seek redress if he indeed believes he has a case.
15. Blackface should know that nobody ever secured a court judgement via a twitter rant or media tour.
17. Blackface must have realised by now that the unfortunate tirade has not made “Killa” a hit. At least, not at the moment.”

Your foreign trips bleeding Nigeria’s economy – Fayose tells Buhari
Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has counselled President Mohammadu Buhari to stay at home and govern the country instead of junketing from one country to the other.
Fayose said foreign countries won’t solve Nigeria’s problems, adding that Buhari’s foreign trips are already bleeding the economy with about $1 million being allegedly spent per trip.
The governor, who said most of the trips embarked on by the President were unnecessary, added that ministers or at best the Vice President could have been made to attend most of the functions being attended abroad by Buhari.
According to a statement issued in Ado-Ekiti by his Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, Governor Fayose said: “The President should rather listen more to those of us who criticise him instead of those hailing every of his wrong steps either because of what they intend to gain or for fear of persecution.”
How Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa settled their Twitter rift
Kanye West has ended his feud withWiz Khalifa after having, what he termed, a “great convo.” The rapper tweeted that he spoke to Khalifa on Monday, and now all is “positive.”
It all began last Wednesday when West blasted Khalifa in a series of tweets for what he thought was a dig at his wifeKim Kardashian. From there, the war of words, which also included Khalifa’s baby mama Amber Rose, spread to radio interviews and on to concert stages.
But now the two have reached an agreement. Amber Rose and Kim Kardashian even posted a selfie together earlier on Tuesday, suggesting they worked things out, too.
Ezekwesili tells Buhari-Stop lying to Nigerians regarding the war against Boko Haram
Former Minister of Education and leader of the BringBackOurGirls, BBOG,Oby Ezekwesili has charged President Muhammadu Buhari to always tell Nigerians the truth when it comes to Boko Haram Ezekwesili made the call at the group’s usual sit-out in Abuja.
She said,
“The government cannot afford to go to the old ways where lies were fed to the people. Let there be truthfulness. Government should not create a trust deficit syndrome because it will be difficult to mend. Everything that the government is doing concerning the war, they should tell the truth. We will get used to it and join in the solution.”
“What drove us out of our comfort zone is that we got tired of not doing anything. We will continue with our core value. No matter what anyone want to do, this advocacy will continue. A pledge is a pledge. We made a pledge to parents of the Chibok girls and will not fail in this pledge.”
“We have gone through a lot. But what we have gone through is little of what the 219 girls are going through in the hands of the Boko Haram sect. Let nobody succeed in making us feel we should not continue. We will continue until the girls are back. The girls deserve justice and they have not been given justice. We are unhappy that they are spending close to two years in the hands of the terrorists.”“I have not lost hope. There is no basis to lose hope. Though we might be depressed sometimes, we won’t lose hope. We will stand for the girls. We will hold on to the commitment the president made to the Chibok girls’ parents and Nigerians. We believe that he will keep his promise and bring the girls back.”“Some people have been vocal about our Chibok girls, but now they feel the Chibok girls are distractions. Our Chibok girls are not distractions,” she said.
