Nigerian Man Beats his Mother to Death with a Chair in the US (Photos)

A Nigerian man living in the United States has been charged with murder after his mother was found dead at her Regency Park apartment in Texas USA.

Dr Hauwa Esther Kadima, 61, was found dead on July 28 after officers received a call from her son Daniel Basor Kadima, 31, alerting them of a person believed to be dead at her apartment.

Daniel called 911 about 9 a.m. July 28 and told dispatchers he was calling to report a death, according to the warrant, which was released Monday. When asked when he had last seen the deceased, he 

responded “yesterday,” police said. Kadima identified himself but did not say the victim’s name or the nature of their relationship.

According to the warrant, when he was asked what had happened, Kadima responded, “My duty is just to call in and let you know.”

Officers say they arrived and found Hauwa Kadima lying on the floor next to a broken wooden chair. Initial autopsy findings showed she had fractures to her skull, with laceration of the brain because of blunt impact to the head. Daniel had beaten her to death with the chair.

Kadima is being held in the Gregg County Jail. His total bond is set at $100,005,500.

In a sworn affidavit filed in the Gregg County District Clerk's Office, Daniel's ex-wife recounted past assaults and abuse from him, including four years ago when he allegedly head-butted her, breaking one of her teeth and busting her lip. She said he also would take her keys and lock her outside their apartment, but also restrain her when she wanted to leave their home. He also had video cameras installed in their marital home, video recording their daughter.

"He eventually had a mental breakdown and was arrested multiple times," the ex-wfe said in the affidavit. "He was committed to a mental health facility."

Mrs Hauwa's friends described her as a devout Christian, and well-educated with degrees from Wheaton College. They say she had a vision for her native Nigeria.

"She had a passion for wanting to start a school back in her hometown. She didn't go back to fulfill her dream," Rev. Mary Collier says.

Nigerian Conman Posed As US General To Defraud British Women Of £300,000 (Photo)

A fraudster who posed as an American general serving in Afghanistan conned two women out of more than £300,000 in just six months in what detectives believe was a multi-million-pound global scam.

The conman used images of real-life US soldiers to befriend the women over Skype saying he wanted to move to the UK to marry them.

He posed as “General James Krulak” and “General James Raul” and persuaded them to help transfer his $8.5 million (£5.4 million) retirement fund — a “box of treasure” from a family in Afghanistan.

Yesterday Scotland Yard issued an appeal, saying it has identified two other possible victims of the fraudster but fears there may be many more women who have lost money.

Detectives from the Yard’s new FALCON cyber crime unit say they have uncovered evidence the con was part of a “sophisticated global network” preying on vulnerable women. 

Nigerian national Robinson Agbonifoayetan, 32, of Welling, is facing jail after pleading guilty to two counts of fraud by false representation at Isleworth crown court.

The court heard how the British victim, in her sixties and living in Ealing, was befriended by a man she believed to be a US general after he contacted her out of the blue on Skype.

The man insisted on speaking to her several times a day, paying her countless compliments and confiding in her about tragic family events, like his parents and sister dying in a car crash.

Within days he talked of marrying her and introduced the idea of a box containing $8.5million, which he said he had been given by a family after he saved their lives serving in Afghanistan.

She also agreed to meet an delivery agent at a rail station who produced a United Nations diplomatic ID card bearing the name Christopher Williams, saying he came from St Lucia — though the card bore the flag of Belgium. Police say this was actually Agbonifoayetan, who was also the fake US general on Skype.

The victim used up her life savings, pawned jewellery, sold her car and took out loans to pay the spiralling costs before finally becoming suspicious and going to the police.

Detectives arrested Agbonifoayetan at Heathrow airport on December 17 2014, as he tried to leave the country on a flight to Nigeria.

When police raided his family home in Welling they found a receipt book with details of a second victim in Devon. The woman, in her fifties, was sold a similar story by a “General James Raul” and handed over £22,000.

Detectives are now seeking a compensation order to help the victims recoup some of the cash, which was sent to Ghana and Nigeria.

Detective Constable Nick Curtis, who led the inquiry, said: “We are coming across a number of cases of romance fraud. I urge anyone who thinks they may have been a victim to report it to police now.”

Unilag Lecturer Arrested For Raping 18 Year Old Admission Seeker

A part-time lecturer at the University of Lagos, Akoka, Afeez Baruwa, has been arrested by the police in Lagos for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl, seeking admission.

The young lady was sent by her father to the lecturer so that the lecturer can assist her in gaining admission into the institution, but according to the victim, the lecturer raped her in the study room. Mr. Baruwa admits having sex with the girl but insists that it was of mutual consent and not of a forceful nature.

The Director of the Office of the Public Defender, Mrs. Omotola Rotimi, said the OPD would write a letter to the UNILAG Vice-Chancellor on the incident, so as to ensure that such did not happen again to anyone.

She further said, “We are going to defend the girl, and we are writing the VC. The suspect is said to be in the Department of Accounting. He claimed the sex was consensual, but that is not a defence.”

Which is interesting considering that consensual sex is the opposite of rape.

Two Women Who Send Girls To Dubai For Prostitution Have Been Exposed (Photos)

The story by a Nigerian man named Emeka Ugwuonye exposing female traffickers that lure desperate girls into selling their bodies in countries like Malaysia, Russia, the UAE and China has gone viral.

Though her real name remains unknown, Ebony Lisa has been linked with sex trade in Dubai.

According to Emeka, following a previous exposition of one Esther Otubo Nicole, people kept sending him and members of his group, the Due Process Advocates (DPA), the name of one Ebony Lisa.

Ebony is said to be a notorious woman in Dubai, the UAE, the one has tried to keep a low profile, knowing that they were looking in her direction. The videos she had been sending out privately, unfortunately made their way to Facebook. That was the way the DPA tracked her.

Suspected human trafficker kept a ‘low profile’

Emeka said he and his group of advocates have started to trace the trafficker.

“I just instructed the two girls and told them what to do and where to be tonight, while action is taken against Madam Eboni Lisa,” the activist said.

The finance lawyer gave further details about the flesh peddler. He said her real name was unknown, but that her girls call her ‘Aunty Fegor’, adding that she goes by the name Ebony Lisa on Facebook.

The DPA spokesman also said that Ebony lives at Sharjah, Abu Shagara, Ismail Building in the UAE, adding that her Facebook page claims she attended a Delta state university, Abraka.

Ebony is said to be a graduate of a Delta state university, Abraka.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, August 4, Emeka Ugwuonye exposed another sex trafficker identified as Esther Otubo Nicole.

The CEO of Eculaw group simply described her as a human trafficker who sends Nigerian girls into prostitution in Dubai. He spoke on a particular video from Facebook, showing a nude girl.

“I got the video of two different girls recorded under the most debasing conditions, naked and scared. What Nicole does is videotape these girls in the nude and blackmails them into prostitution in Dubai.

“I had to expose this lady, so I opened a chat group on Facebook, and my aim is to checkmate the activities of Nicole and her kind.”

Emeka Ugwuonye and his colleagues keep looking for more clues on Facebook

Emeka’s Facebook status was titled: “There Is A Criminal On The Prowl That We All Need To Help Track Down”

In his status, he said that before they leave Nigeria, Nicole would first make the girls and their parents swear to some local shrine in the belief that such would place a curse of sudden death on those girls if they were to disobey her.

The traffickers in Dubai get about N6 million per girl

It is gathered that the total amount she plans to get from each girl is about $30,000. Nicole allegedly uses blackmail as an additional means of enforcing her plan.

“She takes a video recording of each girl, who is made to stand nude, fully nude. She says to each girl that if she failed to pay her $30,000 when she gets to Dubai or elsewhere, she would release the video tape on Facebook and that if she paid, she would delete the videotape,” Emeka said.

Ostensibly, some of the girls did not meet up with the agreement, hence Nicole released their videos on Facebook.

Emeka affirms having seen the videos: “I have personally seen videos of three girls in such humiliation. People forwarded them to me in order for me to use DPA to help track down the woman that is behind all this.

“A friend of mine and a member of DPA who discussed this with me yesterday over an inbox exchange has already taken some steps.”

The advocate went on to say that his friend has contacted the UAE Embassy in Washington and the FBI Crime Alert, an action which he deems as reasonable.

“We now have her particulars, and we are now seeking to get her arrested in Dubai, there are many, many Nigerian girls suffering under her control. These girls lack the ability to cry out, they are in slavery and bondage, we must set them free and we must have the ‘Madam’ arrested,” Emeka concluded.

Esther Otubo Nicole is said to be from Bayelsa, but living in the Marina area of Dubai. Her phone was given as: +971 55 837 88 59. Emeka reveals that she has a daughter in Nigeria, who is currently serving in the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

A New Jersey woman who turned 110 on Saturday credits her longevity to two things: believing in God and popping the “champagne of beers” daily.

“Ain’t no secret, just keep in touch with God and do the right thing,” Agnes Fenton told ABC 7 from her Englewood, N.J., home where she celebrated her birthday party in a wheelchair. “That’s all I know.”

The supercentenarian, who has been making headlines for her old age and infinite wisdom since her 105th birthday, had previously told ABC that she cheats death by downing three bottles of Miller High Life and a glass of whiskey every day.

The daily diet of booze started about 70 years ago when a doctor told Fenton her only serious health problem was a benign tumor, the news station reported.

He gave her one piece of advice before sending her home: “He said, ‘Agnes, you must drink three Miller High Lifes a day.'”

Fenton dutifully and happily adhered — even throwing in some Johnnie Walker Blue Label into the mix — for decades.

Prostitutes Hold Candlelight Procession For Colleagues Who Were Killed By Ritualists

There was mild drama in Abeokuta, Ogun State, Monday night, as scores of commercial s*x workers staged a candlelight procession in honour of their colleagues, who were allegedly killed by suspected ritualists, weekend.

Dressed in black apparels, the s*x workers, who stormed the state secretariat of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oke-Ilewo, Abeokuta, wailed as they mourned their colleagues.

One of the dead, who was simply identified as Sitira, was found dead at a refuse dump site at Olomoore junction in Abeokuta on Sunday morning.

Suspected ritualists were said to have abandoned the corpse of the 23-year-old prostitute after severing some flesh from her body.

The late Sitira was said to have been thrown off a moving Sport Utility Vehicle, SUV, along Abeokuta-Lagos Expressway.

Speaking with reporters, the protesters claimed that beside Sitira, another colleague was killed by suspected ritualists.

They said the mutilated remains of the second s*x worker was discovered in a ditch at Olomoore, Abeokuta.

During the procession, about 50 commercial s*x workers, plying their trade in Abeokuta, converged on the NUJ secretariat and also at the nearby residence of former Head of Interim National Government, Chief Ernest Shonekan.

They identified Sitira with different names: Titi and Folake.

Bearing candle sticks, they chanted solidarity slogans and rained curses on the killers of their colleagues.

The s*x workers momentarily barricaded the NUJ secretariat and later departed for the MKO Abiola International Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta, where they continued their mourning.

They chanted: Oro nla leda, oro nla leda, eyin tepa Titi, t’eje odagba, oro nla leda. Omo yin maku, eeeheee omo yin maku, eyin tepa Titi t’eje odagba, omo yin maku.

It means: You have done something grievous, you have done something grievous. The killers of Titi (Sitira) have done something grievous.

Their children will die, their children will die, those that killed Titi will lose their children.

A large snake was butchered, roasted and thrown into pots (and stomachs) when it was recently caught by residents of Iba town, Lagos.

The snake was crawling away slowly after having swallowed a lamb, an eyewitness recounted.

The residents found it meat-worthy and did the needful.
