Reports says that an explosion has occurred at the Federal Prison in Ado-Ekiti, the capital of Ekiti state.
The explosion took place last night at the federal penitentiary.
Prison's spokesman, Mr Ope Fatinikin confirmed the the incident.
However, it was reported that some Inmates escaped due to the explosion.
