Indonesia search and rescue team have found the black box flight recorder, of the AirAsia plane that crashed in the Java Sea two weeks ago, with 162 people on board.
Henry Bambang Soelistyo, chief of the search and rescue team said the data recorder was brought to the surface by four divers, early on Monday morning.
He also said that, search continues for the cockpit voice recorder.
Divers began to zero in on the site, a day earlier after picking up pings from its beacon but they were unable to get visual on it due to strong currents.
The cockpit voice and flight recorder, are vital to understanding what caused the AirAsia crash that killed all 162 people on board, December 28.
