Another Secretariat belonging to the All Progressive Congress, APC in Ngo LGA of Rivers state has been bombed.
According to reports, the incident which occurred at about 3:14am, destroyed the secretariat.
Ward 1 chairman of APC in the area, Mr Amos Gogo Amos, said the attack on the secretariat was similar to that of the party's secretariat in Okrika LGA of the state.
“We are calling on the government to come to our aid as we are no longer safe in the community. Anything can happen in the night. The building was badly damaged.”The caretaker committee chairman, Mr Ikwut Emmanuel who spoke on the attack, said he received a distress call by some unknown persons. He called on the state commissioner of police, Mr Dan Bature to look into the case and arrest those involved.
Ahmad Mohammed, a police spokesperson confirmed the incident, but. Said details of the attack was still sketchy.
