Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan announced on Friday they are expecting their first child, a baby girl. Zuckerberg revealed the exciting news in a Facebook post, sharing a photo of himself, their dog Beast, and Chan cradling her baby bump. See the photo below!
In sharing the news, Zuckerberg wrote, “Priscilla and I have some exciting news: we’re expecting a baby girl! This will be a new chapter in our lives. We’ve already been so fortunate for the opportunity to touch people’s lives around the world — Cilla as a doctor and educator, and me through this community and philanthropy. Now we’ll focus on making the world a better place for our child and the next generation.”
The Facebook founder went on to note that he and Chan have been trying for a baby for the past several years, but his wife sadly suffered three miscarriages.
