Oscar Pistorius may have been handed a five year prison sentence for killing his girlfriend, Reeva but he may only spend only spend less than a year in jail.
Pistorius defence lawyer, Barry Roux, said he expects the athlete to searve only 10 months behind bars and the remainder under house arrest, because his condition made him unfit for prison.
Under South Africa law, Pistorius will be eligible to apply for house arrest in 10 months.
