Oscar Pistorius has been sentenced to 5years in prison for killing his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp, Tuesday, October 21, 2014 by a South African judge, Thokozile Masipa.
The judge also sentenced the double-amputee olympian to 3years in prison for unlawfully firing a gun in a restaurant in separate incident, weeks before killing his girlfriend.
Pistorius killed his girlfriend on Valentine's day last year, shooting her through a toilet door in his home.
Pistorius testified that the shooting was an accident, because he mistook her for an intruder.
