Bride Refused To Walk Down The Aisle Until Groom Paid For Her Boob Job(Photos)

A bride-to-be refused to walk down the aisle until her future hubby coughed up the cash for a boob job.

The 29-year-old bride Meryl Clarke developed a thyroid condition that saw her losing seven stone in just six months, she was left with saggy skin which she feared would ruin her big day because her breasts looked like a flabby potato sack. So when the 29-year-old had her boyfriend Luke Clarke pop the question on New Year's Eve in 2013, she was torn.

On one hand, she could not wait to marry the man of her dreams - but on the other, she knew her body, which dropped from 20 stone to 13, would bother her.
.
Meryl, from Leicester, said: "When Luke proposed I was happy but I imagined I'd be walking down the aisle smiling on the outside but not on the inside.

"Even just wearing normal clothes I had to put socks in my bra and pull my tights up to my armpits and I couldn't do that in a wedding dress.
"I was left with flabs of skin hanging from my tummy, arms and legs and my boobs were like empty flaps of skin, they were awful.

"I spent many days crying myself to sleep because my body was literally eating itself.

"I had the body of an old woman, my boobs were like empty flaps of skin, I looked 80 from the neck down.

"I had no breast tissue and this large apron of skin, if I ran it would make a clapping sound.
Meryl planned to raise the money to pay for the operation herself but as an early wedding present for his new bride-to-be, Luke agreed to stump up the cash for a tummy tuck and surgery to take her AA boobs to a DD.

Delighted with her new dream body, Meryl finally walked down the aisle and married Luke at a ceremony in Rothley Court, Leicester, last month.

Surgeon reveals how much Caitlyn Jenner spent on surgeries

We all know Caitlin Jenner had a facial feminization surgery but the 65-year-old’s new face came with a heavy price tag, one estimated to be in the realm of $70,000.

Plastic surgeon Dr David Alessi who is based in Los Angeles, performs nearly a dozen similar surgeries each year, which softens certain characteristically male features and adding a few feminine touches.

Alessi told Page six of the New York Times that he believes Bruce underwent six procedures to get Caitlyn’s face.

Among the surgeries he claims that the former decathlete underwent Rhinoplasty, which runs anywhere between $9k to $15k.  Then a facial rejuvenation surgery that often costs in the neighbourhood of $25,000.
Alessi also think that Caitlyn has had a brow lift (around $12k), cheek implants ($6K-$8K), Adam’s apple shave ($6K-$10K), and Botox ($800).

The total amount the surgeon estimates the cost of all the procedures is around $70,000.

In addition, most patients who undergo similar procedures get yearly touch ups and tweaks, to maintain their appearance – and Alessi thinks Caitlyn will be no different.

He also believes Caitlyn will want other procedures down the road, including liposuction to have a more hourglass shape.

This man sold his 2-year-old son for the most ridiculous amount(Photo)

29-year-old man, Kanayo Awurum, has been arrested for allegedly selling his son for N450,000, identified as Samuel, to some middle-aged women.
According to reports by Punch, Kanayo, who worked as a painter, reportedly lied to his wife, Kelechi, that one of the women was his relative in Port Harcourt and the boy was going to live with her.
After reports had been made to the police, three women ─ Nkechi Obi, Cecilia Nwatu and Gladys Nwobodo ─ were apprehended for allegedly buying the child.
The women, who were working with Kanayo’s friend, identified only as Emmanuel, had visited the man and his wife to purchase the boy. Kanayo had apparently told Emmanuel, who is still at large, that he had some financial difficulties, and decided to sell his son for N450,000.
Emmanuel then advised Kanayo to sell his child to the women. Kanayo in turn mauled over the idea saying that his plan was to stabilise his family with the money as his wife was pregnant with another child.
He said, “I met Kelechi in our secondary school days in 2005. It was in 2010 that we started living together. In December 2012, she gave birth to Samuel. We were then living in Owerri, Imo State. I was working as a painter and also acted in movies. I was an upcoming actor so I was not well paid.
“From 2014, I started to have financial difficulties, and I wanted to come to Lagos to hustle. The idea to sell my child came in March 2015 when I finally decided to travel to Lagos. It was a friend, Emmanuel, who linked me to the women. I asked him to lend some money to me and he said I should use what I had to get what I wanted.
“I did not tell my wife that I wanted to sell our child. I lied to her that one of the women who came was my elder sister in Port Harcourt and our son was going to stay with her. My wife did not like the idea, but I convinced her that it was for our good.
“So, when we came to Lagos, we rented an apartment on Oluwaseyi Street in the Egbe area of Lagos. I was paid N450,000 for the boy. That was what I used to pay for the rent.”
Kelechi, 28, said that it was when she pestered Kanayo to bring her child home for a visit and the boy was not brought by the ‘relative’ that she suspected a foul play.
She said, “Samuel was two years and two months old when Kanayo said he was taking him to stay with his sister in Port Harcourt. In April, he went to Owerri for a painting work and promised that his sister would bring Samuel on a visit.
“On the day he promised, no one showed up. He also failed to come back to Lagos when he promised. I then told our landlord and one of his friends in Lagos, called Coach. Then, they agreed to trick my husband to come back home.
“When he arrived, they began to ask him questions and he later confessed that the boy was not actually with his relative. They went to report the matter at the Ikotun Police Division. That was how he was arrested.”
Samuel was recovered by the police last week Friday, and he had been reunited with Kelechi.

BBC mistakenly tweets Queen Elizabeth's death

That awkward moment when you are hale and hearty, probably maybe chatting with friends when you hear your death being announced. I guess that is what probably happened to Queen Elizabeth II when BBC mistakenly announced her death.
Although BBC officials have issued a public apology after a royal obituary rehearsal went public and sparked false reports suggesting Queen Elizabeth II had passed away.
Acording to 3news, One of BBC reporter, Ahmen Khawaja was part of a training exercise to teach staff about how to handle a royal death when a series of misleading tweets were accidentally sent out from her official Twitter account.
The messages began: “BREAKING: Queen Elizabeth is being treated at Edward 7th Hospital in London. Statement due shortly,” and later added, “Queen Elizabeth has died.”
The tweets were picked up by news outlets across the world and sparked rumors of a real royal death, which were compounded as the 89-year-old monarch was coincidentally admitted to the London hospital on Wednesday morning for her annual medical check-up.
Khawaja later deleted the tweets and told followers the news was not true, BBC officials too have issued a public apology for the scare.
“During a technical rehearsal for an obituary, tweets were mistakenly sent from the account of a BBC journalist… The tweets were swiftly deleted and we apologise for any offence,” the statement read.
A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace has also confirmed the Queen is alive and well, adding, “I can confirm that the Queen this morning attended her annual medical check-up at the King Edward VII’s Hospital. This was a pre-scheduled appointment and the Queen has now left the hospital.”

President Buhari Set To Take One More Petroleum Position

Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari is set to take one more petroleum position.

Buhari plans to become the next President of the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), as the country still holds the seat, an official of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) said on June 4, Thursday, in Abuja.

The politician, who asked not to be named, said the exit of Diezani Alison-Madueke, ex-minister of petroleum resources, had nothing to do with the status of Nigeria as the President of the group.
The official said the post would be filled after the nomination of a new minister of petroleum by Buhari.
It is widely considered that the leader of the country will double as the Minister of Petroleum in a bid to rid the ministry of the massive corruption that has overwhelmed it.
The source said the ex-minister was elected at the 166th General Meeting of the OPEC, not in her own capacity but to introduce our country.
Diezani was elected the president of the international oil body on November 27, 2014 but commenced to occupy the office in January 2015.
The official added that the OPEC president is expected to serve for a period of one year and to chair over the meetings of the conference in the course of that presidency.

AIT, Raypower Shut Down By Workers Over 17 Months Salary Debt

The offices of Daar Communications Plc, operator of African Independent Television (AIT) and Raypower FM Radio, in Benin was on Wednesday shut down by workers protesting over unpaid salaries.

Eyewitnesses say that the protesting workers blocked the main entrance to the station located along the Benin/Lagos bypass. A detachment of anti-riot policemen were however called by the management of the station to forestall any break down of law.

It was gathered that the protesting workers put at 50 of AIT and Ray Power, were owed salaries salaries spanning between 12 and 17 months.

A staff who did not want his name in print, said newly employed staff of AIT were being owed 12 months while old staff were yet to be paid salaries between 13 months and staff of the Raypower FM, the Radio arm of the broadcast outfit were owed 17 months.

“The stations generate millions of naira on a daily basis, so there is no reason why we should not be paid our salaries. They have no excuse not to pay us our money. It is share wickedness and man’s inhumanity to his fellow man. We have families to care for and children to pay their school fees. Many of our children have stopped going to school. But their own attend schools abroad.
“Look at where our station is located, in another village so far away from Benin City. You have to chatter a cab for not less than N500.00 to get there if you miss the staff bus. And not even every cab driver will agree to go there because of the wrong location of the station, yet, they expect us to be there everyday, whether you have anything to do or not,”
Chairman of the organization, Raymond Dokpesi (Jnr) was said to have spoken to the protesters on phone. He allegedly appealed for calm, assuring them that the management will within one week do everything possible to pay parts of the salary arrears.

N3.2bn Severance: Jonathan, Sambo, Others To Wait Till 2016

A jumbo severance package for former President Goodluck Jonathan; his deputy, Namadi Sambo; immediate past ministers and presidential aides as well as non-returning federal lawmakers will not be paid until 2016.

Investigations byThe PUNCH show that the remuneration package put together by the Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commission is valued at about N3.24bn.

Sources at the Ministry of Finance in Abuja confided in our correspondent on Thursday that the allowances of the political office holder, who  left office last Friday, were not captured in this year’s budget.

The 2015 budget, which was passed by the National Assembly and signed by Jonathan on April 28, makes a provision of N2.3bn for “entitlements of former Presidents/Heads of state and Vice Presidents/Chiefs of General Staff.”

Explaining the reason why the severance pay was not captured in this year’s budget, the official said as of last year when the 2015 budget was being prepared, the outcome of the April 2015 elections could not be ascertained.

He said since the outcome of the elections could not be predicted, there was no way the Budget Office could have determined the number of political office holders that would not be re-elected.
“You will recall that the 2015 budget was prepared sometime last year and during the budget preparation, the elections had not been held.
“So it would be wrong to include the severance package of political office holders in the budget because as of the time the budget was prepared, these people were still holding political offices.
“Secondly, including their severance package before the elections were conducted would mean that we were pre-empting the outcome of a political process.
“So what we do is to wait for the outcome of   elections and on the strength of this, we can know the number of people that have left office and those   re-elected.
“As for those political office holders that are leaving office this year, their severance package would be included in the 2016 budget, which will be prepared later in the year.”
Under the severance package put together by RMAFC, Jonathan is entitled to 300 per cent of his annual basic salary.

The President’s annual basic salary is put at N3, 514,705 and therefore his severance allowance will be N10, 544,115 after May 29.

Legalize Prostitution Or Give Us Jobs – Sex Workers Beg Buhari

Following the spate police raid in the country's capital territory, where over 3,000 prostitutes have been arreste, sex workers have reportedly thronged the streets of Abuja requesting that prostitution be legalized.

The group rallied under the slogan "Legalize prostitution now" and "Allow us to hustle for our daily bread", protesting harassment from law enforcement agencies.

It would be recalled that in the last 3months, more than 3,000 commercial sex workers have been arrested in Abuja in raid carried out by Special Task Force on City Cleaning and Management.

The women standing in for National Association of Nigerian Prostitutes expressed disappointment at what they called discrimination and indiscriminate arrests and molestation on daily basis.
One of the women, who preferred anonymity said: “We are Nigerians too and we only go about seeking our daily livelihood, so I see no reason why they should be harassing, arresting us and extorting money from us.”
“These same men are the ones who patronize us but during the day, they will be molesting us. What crimes have we committed? Many of us are graduates who could not secure jobs, so we hustle to make ends meet. We have families and responsibilities to meet, so they should allow us to work and make money.”
