Joan Rivers Cause Of Death: Lack of oxygen to brain during surgery


Joan Rivers officially died of anoxic encephalopathy due to hypoxic arrest- a lack of oxygen to the brain during an endoscopy procedure, the New York City Medical Examination announced on Thursday.
It was revealed that she was under sedation when it happened. 

Rivers died at the age of 81 on September 4, a week after going into cardiac arrest and being put into a coma following what was suppose to be a routine procedure to evaluate changes to her voice.
