Lagos state Government yesterday declared Friday as holiday for all public servants in the state.
This, it explained was to enable them collect their permanent voter card(PVC) from INEC.
Distribution of the PVCs is scheduled to hold from Friday, 7 - Sunday, November 9.
Governor Babatunde Fashola, who made the declaration, said this is a sign that election process had already begun.
He appealed to eligible voters who had reached the age of 18 to register.
