Talented singer, Wizkid was in the news recently, about his alleged arrest in far away Kenya for smoking India Hemp.
Reports in a Kenyan Newspaper, "Standard Media" stated that Wizkid was arrested in Nairobi in his Plaza Crown hotel room on Saturday afternoon. The arrest was said to be in connection with allegations that he was caught smoking Marijuana, where smoking is prohibited.
According to reports, Wizkid who was due to leave for Lagos was forced to cancel his flight and was charged with Sh50,000 smoking penalty, which he paid with his credit card,
However, Wizkid's manager Seuun Johnson, said that although the artist was in Kenya for different showsn he was not arrested for smoking Marijuana.
"It is just a rumour that they are peddling online. He was in Kenya at different days for different events. There is no truth in what they posted online",he said.
