The Cable Network News (CNN), has released its list of Most Inspiring Women of 2014 and two Nigerians, the late Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh and author of "Half Of A Yellow Sun" Chimamanda Adichie made the list.
The women on the list are those who excelled in their respective professions in 2014, and they were nominated by readers, partners and organisations.
CNN described Adadevoh as "The Nigerian who in her effort, prevented the wide spread of Ebola in Nigeria, after overseeing the treatment of Patrick Sawyer who brought the disease to the country."

Other women honored include Oscar award-winning actress, Lupita Nyong'o, Kerry Washington and Liberian president, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.
