FG Declares January 2 As Public Holiday


The Federal Government has declared Friday, January 2, 2015 as public holiday to mark Eld el Maloud.
They had earlier declared January 1, 2015 as public holiday to mark the New Year.

Minister of Interior, Abba Moro in a statement signed by the Permanent Secretary in the ministry, Makaji Abdulahi, Moro urged all Muslim faithful and all Nigerians to pray for the peace and unity of the country. Also wished the Muslim faithful and Nigerians a very peaceful celebration.
