Masked gunmen stormed the offices of a French anti-Islamic publication killing at least 12 and wounding 10 people before escaping, Police said.
The weekly as previously drawn condemnation from Muslims and it is believed to ba terrorist attack.
According to reports, the attack is supposedly in revenge for the magazine's mockery of the Holy Prophet Mohammed in a cartoon.
The masked attackers, clad in black with hoods burst into the Charlie Hebdo headquarters in Paris Today, opening fire on staff and shouting "We are from the Al Qaeda, the prophet has been avenged, Allahu Akbar!" according to witnesses.
