The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi has been officially confirmed in a coronation ceremony.
He will now be referred to as, Emir Muhammad Sanusi II, the 14th Emir of Kano under the Fulani Dynasty. He has been presented with the staff of office by the king makers of the emirate council, signifying the official beginning of his reign as Emir of Kano.
