The former Governor of Anambra State, Peter Obi who is in South Africa at the moment took out time to visit Nigerians who have been victims of the ongoing xenophobic attacks to show solidarity to them. Among those in the picture are some Nigerians who managed to escape different attacks, but still got wounded in the process.
This is nice, a source of encouragement and relief for the hurting and downtrodden at this particular moment. It is a welcome idea. Kudos Peter Obi, that is a strong message to the South African government that we care for people and watching their next move.
