ABC Family and Her Minajesty announced Tuesday (Sept. 29) that a comedy based on the rapper’s childhood in Queens, NY is in the works. Minaj, who moved from her birthplace of Trinidad and Tobago to the South Jamaica neighborhood of Queens when she was 5 years old will serve as the show’s executive producer. She’ll also appear in the comedy series.
