3 Nigerians Named In World’s 250 Most Influential Women


3 Nigerian women have been named in Richtopia.com’s 250 Most Influential Women in the world.

According to the website, the rankings are based on “social media influence, Klout scores and a secret recipe.” Their metric sources include Twitter, Facebook, Wikipedia, Youtube, LinkedIn and Instagram.
The highest-ranked Nigerian on the list was Bring Back Our Girls champion and former Minister or Education, Oby Ezekwesili. She moved up on the rankings from 77 to 73.
Next on the list was economist and former minister of finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala. She also moved up in the rankings, from 133 to 128.
The last Nigerian on the list was former newscaster and three-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa. She was ranked 173rd.
